Wow this is an interesting theory. I do think after SF and XJ die as mortals, they’ll go back to the heavenly realm.

It reminds me of the makeup Xiao Yan had in Marry Me, the makeup is a bit better in this drama so far but I feel like Ju Jing Yi’s makeup team could do better for her.

The drama also aged up the main characters. In the novel, XJ and SF meet when they are 11 years old unlike in the drama where they met at 16.

I’m also glad the drama also changed the reason why Xi Xuan fell in love with the GOW. In the book, he fell in love with her since she had the face of a deity he was in love with before. I prefer it in the drama where Xi Xuan fell in love with the GOW due to their friendship. Also in the book, he wasn’t the son of the heavenly emperor and was just a minor deity.

From reading the synopsis of the novel, it looks like XJ really did have a crush on MY in the novel unlike in the drama (where she only liked him as a friend)

Episode 2 was so much fun

It’s a lighthearted show, I’m enjoying it so far

I would love to see Li Yi Tong and Marius Wang in another drama together (like in a romcom) where they both are the leads.

In episode 59, when LHJD separated from XJ, I wonder if XJ’s body would’ve gone back to her original GOW body that has the scars.

I just started watching The Untamed and it’s very different from L&R. I can see why it’s popular though (although I prefer L&R). But comparing the dramas is like comparing apples and peaches.

I agree, honestly her actions were understandable. I feel like XJ turning back into LHJD made XJ + SF’s relationship progress more.
