Can’t wait to see Bbomm’s character development. She shouldn’t be using the PDs to do things like changing lightbulbs or fixing the litter box.

In the original, Goo Jun Yeong was a salesman who would go to bookstores to sell manga. I can see why it was changed in this drama and instead he is a PD. Webtoons have surpassed the sales of physical manhwa + are more popular than physical manhwa now which is why the drama setting isn’t solely a manhwa publishing company (this would’ve worked a decade ago maybe).

With the drama having 16 episodes, I hope it goes more into depth about stress, burnout, mental health especially with the rookie webtoon artist character 신대륙 (I wonder if he’ll have the same backstory).

I think it’s following the same general plot line as the original like the case with the first webtoon artist. Although many new things were added, I do like that it’s not exactly the same as the j-drama adaptation. I just saw the character descriptions and there will be 2 new artists (Bbomm and Woojin Lee) that the original didn’t have.

None but it’s a great drama

This drama focuses on the fl growing as a webtoon artist editor. It’s not a romcom (only slight romance + the original had no romance at all). Another focus of the drama is showing the webtoon artists and the struggles they go through.

Loved the first episode, it really gave the same positive vibes as the j-drama adaptation. The plot is also being followed well.

I personally am excited since the screenwriter Jung Seo Kyung is one of my favorite screenwriters (eg: The Handmaiden 2016, Mother 2018, etc.)

This getting hate and it even hasn’t aired….

I like this drama but critiquing in general doesn’t mean negativity + I’m autistic myself……

Tbh, I wish people would let Moon Jiwon (screenwriter) face criticism especially by autistic/neurodivergent people.

- Jewel in the Palace (2003); drama focusing on court ladies + has a satisfying slow burn romance. The FL of TRS also appears as the child version of the 2FL in Jewel in the Palace (you’ll recognize her right away).

Hope people don’t complain about wanting more romance…the drama is mainly about the fl growing as an editor.
