I don’t really hate or love characters that much either. I might say I like or dislike something, but that’s just me. I get where you’re coming from, and honestly, I think we’re both right in our own ways. It all comes down to how we experience art or entertainment, how we perceive it, and what we take from it. And sometimes, you know, entertainment is just entertainment. Like how I love to relax with slasher movies and parody movies. I love the scary movies franchise and not another teen movie :)
