I cried when I saw Ji Won crying. Because I pretty much in the same situation with her. I am not the oldest daughter…
Unfortunately I still don't think Jaehyung is that interested in her or like anyone in the show. And jiwon also needs someone who clearly and in a straightforward manner shows interest and provides security, yk? He's still conflicted which is absolutely fine but is it something favourable for Jiwon? Idk yet. Then again she's also interested she said she doesn't know if she likes him yet.
Awww I feel so bad about judging jiwon. Her situation is kind of like mine and my younger brother. I understand the feeling of doing so much and not getting back half the effort. That you slave away making something or doing something for your brother and when it's time for him to just listen and reciprocate the sincerity is absent which feels so hurtful.
Well, she explained her "endgame" pretty clearly in one of her conversations with CMD. She wants to have a passionate…
Thanks for the detailed explanation. I guessed the same you said but still wanted to make sure if i was missing some context. Thinking this kind of casual fling would work with a serious guy like CMD is a bit ridiculous but i also understand her, but cant support her lol.
I think there is the reveal of FL's underthinking in Ep16, very touching. It's drama. They like to put you into…
Haha angst is necessary! Thats why i mentioned im on episode 13 as I stopped to comment so that i dont look rude. I'll be watching the rest of the episodes now.
So what's the endgame the fl has in mind? She doesn't want to leave shanghai but knows the ml wants a proper relationship... So what even is going on with her? I'm not trying to be rude, I don't watch cdramas a lot, maybe I'm not getting some cultural context and I'm on episode 13. The FL's motivation is confusing, she just wants a situationship?
As I read from many comments before, My Dearest copied some elements from Gone with the Wind and made it into…
So you think this show is a masterpiece? Can you point out one kdrama that doesn't use tropes or inspiration from other material? It's about the execution of the tropes and cliches and making something beautiful. Acting and emotion wise my dearest is leagues ahead. Sorry for your lack of taste but hopefully you'll get better!
Mone Mone Mone since when she's the victim ?? I'm so disappointed with HCS's character arc. Dami should get at least one resurrection, everyone else has come from the dead atleast twice. When will dami ever get justice?
I just don't like this show but I want to. It's so mid unfortunately. I always struggled with watching historical kdramas as I found them repetitive with the same betrayals, politics bs but My dearest changed it for me. I've never seen such beautiful story with lead characters and acting that brought such intense emotions out of me. The 'sound of flower' will forever haunt me just like 25 21's 'I don't need a rainbow'. So I tried this and it's just the same boring stuff. I keep comparing every historical kdramas with my dearest as it was truly something special.
