I still think this show is holding true to its purpose. It is exploring 3 relationship developments and a realistic…
yes thank you!! I love everything you said here. they are all like 20ish years old- an age where things are changing all the time, internally and externally. we get to go on these journeys with them, watch as they grow, learn, make mistakes, struggle. this is a coming of age drama so conflict is only natural.
initially the fahthorn conflict seemed silly because it's clear how much they love each other. but basketball is the foundation of their relationship and with it being ripped away from thorn, it really does explain where they are with each other. it's like they are no longer on the same wavelength, like they can't quite reach other. fah has always had basketball, whereas thorn has had it taken from him multiple times. to the viewer maybe it's just a silly sport but it's their whole life - it gave them purpose, gave them love. but now thorn feels he is being left behind once again, being replaced once again. their bubble burst, there's resentment and those feelings fester. the time jump makes sense!!! it's the only way they can move forward.
it is a sports drama literally about sport science students so what did you expect?
except it's not endless sports scenes? this episode happened to be basketball heavy because this was an important match which moved the story forward. our main couple are connected through basketball, it's the foundation of their relationship. maybe it's just not for you.
I really hate when relationships starts affecting your health physically and mentally. Vee must be in deep remorse…
when he told dome to reply to his sister!! made me think of the conversations he must have at home. how his sister probably talks to him about dome, how vee silently suffers 😭
The music is too beautiful in this series whenever the couple say meaningful things or have deep convo suddenly…
I agree!! the music that accompanied the fahthorn kiss during ep 6 was so hopeful I thought my heart was gonna burst! and the music during the domevee confession with the baton pass was so freaking tense! whoever is incharge of the music for this drama is doing a wonderful job!!!
i watch this as soon as it's out and then curse myself for it because the week long wait is torture 😭 episode 7 was great!!! i love how fahthorn have just fallen into place with each other, and how supportive their team is warms my heart. i really feel for aiisaen because they are both valid in their own feelings. also how vee was literally sick over his whole situation you can tell how much it is affecting him. that preview!!! SIGHS how will i make it through this week. 😩
