Title Love between Lines Spoiler
Things I realized days later after the end is FML's parents is irresponsible af for making their daughter feel…
I don't disagree with you, but i will add that her dad had a particular dislike towards architecture as a whole because of the accident. He disliked that she would want to join the same profession as the guy who was at fault for his leg injury. So it's not just that, oh you're giving up your dreams for me and the family, I'm glad. It's more, you're giving up your dreams for a career I actively dislike and mistrust and choosing a more stable "normal" career that might pay better and you get to stay by us, I'm glad. Or at least that's how i interpreted it

Wait... so Jung Hae In is Lee Ha Na's uncle? I thought it should be the other way around...
Her grandma adopted him as her son, so family-wise that makes him her uncle even though they're not actually related and similar in age. they grew up as close friends and calling him uncle seems to be a joke that just stuck around.

Title Eternal Love
it's terrible. full of plotholes. pretty predictable and a lot of plot armour and convenience in the name of drama-fate. CGI is much better than that terrible journey of a flower thing but still bad and way too obvious. BUT, but this 'but' is important: it's a fun watch. the characters are cute (the villains are pretty one-dimensional but with a bit of suspension of disbelief and interpreting things creatively it's bearable) and I even find myself rooting for the side lovelines. It's all very adorable and keeping me from dropping it. I'd say it's better than many other wuxia/xianxia/whatever they are called. But I'm saying all this after having watched only 16 eps, so it could get better or worse. Truth be told, all plotholes aside (esp the way they handle the time difference issues) I quite like it. If only it wasn't a plagiarised piece of work

This shit is boring as hell Weak and useless female lead and boring male lead what a great combination that is…
ikr, se jin too. She changes a lot, sure, but she was pretty badass from the beginning too.

i think it all depends on whether at the end of that beating, there's a bruise or not. If it leaves actual cuts or bruises we've gone over to actual domestic violence. Apart from that I'd say it's just some friendly discipline. The kids aren't gonna die after being hit a few times. At the same time though, it also depends on how the child takes it. If they've grown up with a mother who'll pull their ears when they do something wrong, they wouldn't be traumatized by it. But if a mom who's babied her kids since they were born, then obviously a slap will have a big emotional impact. And then there are the violent types of parents who'll hit for no reason or hit too hard and too much for the child to bear - now that's real abuse.

to each their own, i suppose. i disagree with a lot of them (eg I've never understood what people see in Yoon Eun Hye apart from her acting and I've seen prettier taiwanese, korean and japanese actresses than some who've been listed), but I'm probably of the minority. Don't know if it's high standards or just different standards

oh yeah, korean or japanese words just randomly come out, expecially, "andway", "wakanne" "soka?" "bolla" lol and the ramen- i can totally relate.. except, i usually like having ramen while watching dramas, coz it totally feels like im part of them with the chosticks and all XD
