The BL watchers who are used to shit screenplays and shit budgets can't use critical thinking to analyze this as a DRAMA... lmao the story is still unfolding but if you pay attention, the narrative is being shown, not told, as well written stories typically are!

I have to remind myself that WSW is barely over 20 and is is baby experiencing his first real love (Yue Yue does not count, let's be real), and he has a big heart but very, very poor execution. Whereas CC is nearly 30 and far more mature and tolerant. Even so, to me, CC has done no wrong whatsoever. He's been caught in unfortunate situations that are misread, whereas WSW had legitimately done bad, petty things, even if his intentions are to simply earn CC's love.

But CC is simply withholding some information, whereas WSW is just outright lying to get a reaction. But that always ultimately backfires—you'll get a reaction, but it won't be the one you want. It will just hurt the other person.

I love WSW but he's been irritating me lately!! The little games and refusing to be frank about his feelings is what's causing all of this miscommunication. His methods are immature and inexperienced. All he needs to do is be honest about what he's seen, why he's hurt, and what he thinks. Then CC could clear everything up in one conversation. I know miscommunication is a typical plot device to fester conflict but it's annoying me. I just want them to be happy and cuddly and express their love!!! UGHHHH

This show has been keeping my attention every single episode! I'm so impressed with the pacing, it's moving quickly and without any boring spots where I'm yawning and putting on 1.5x speed. I'm also loving the frequent inclusion of music to set the mood of each scene, and the comedic aspects I find actually go well with the story (I usually hate comedy). The non-funny moments are shot so beautifully and dramatically — I just knew this show had some of the same people from "My Journey To You" involved, I can see it everywhere. When I looked at the production staff, I was like, "OMG! No wonder!"

Title Begins Youth Spoiler
Iam sorry but i really did not understand the ending, with Jeha finding The Note and him and Hwan jumping. Can…
A supernatural being, which is depicted as a cat in the BU, appears and gives Hwan/Jin the chance to go back in time in order to save all of the boys by changing their situations so they don’t end up the way they do (like Cein/Yoongi committing suicide and Jooan/Taehyung killing his father).

Hwan/Jin keeps a journal to track all of the boys and the time loops — when Hwan/Jin fails to fix something, he wakes up back in time again until he gets it right. Also, his father Changjun experienced the same thing as a boy. He also had a journal like this that they found in the storage room, which is what I actually thought was the journal that Jeha found until we see that it’s not Changjun’s, but Hwan’s. But why is it there? We don’t know.

Now, with Jeha/Jungkook, I’m actually not sure either. In the BU, we’re actually left on a cliffhanger, too, and the most recent thing in the chronologically of the story has to do with Jeha/Jungkook waking up in a time loop of his own — at least, that’s a theory. But why? We don’t know. And this takes place long after what the kdrama shows. The show having Jeha find the journal and go on the platform is new.

But, all in all, Hwan/Jin saves all of them and they remain friends, albeit they still go their separate ways a bit. They pretty much all learn how to love themselves and how to want to be alive. And then they’re friends again. Except there’s the Jeha/Jungkook situation.

Also, Jooan/Taehyung has dreams of Hwan’s/Jin’s time loops. They tease that in the drama with Jooan mentioning he’s having weird dreams. But in the BU, we’re also left on a cliffhanger about that.

Those of you who watched the last episode but know nothing about the BU... how confused are you, LMAO. As an avid BU lover, let me tell you... they should have made 20 episodes and fleshed out the remaining story because there is sooo much, but I do understand where they stopped and I do think it's a good place.

Yeah, this drama is more like a prequel/introduction of BU. It takes place at their highschool days before they…
I really hope they can make a season 2 😩 but I don’t have high hopes

Title Begins Youth
As the title of the show is literally "begins" I'm thinking at this point that is really is just showcasing the boys' high school years when they first meet up until they separate, because then the story chronologically picks back up with the Save Me webtoon. HYYH is already in a ton of different mediums so I don't think they'll adapt everything, it's more like this drama just showcases one part of the story.

Do NOT buy this show from that scummy website Xclusive. The price is ridiculous (!) and venturing into cryptocurrency is such garbage. We need to show HYBE that we are not interested in such a terrible platform and payment method. While I've been waiting for this show for such a long time and am excited for it, I will 100% be watching elsewhere (dramacool, etc.)

I cannot believe it took my mom only 30 minutes of half-watching an episode while I was the one fully watching this for her to say, "This reminds me of Gone With The Wind." 😭 Granted, my mom's favorite story of all time is GWTW so of course she'd notice before I did. Too funny.
