It is okayish . Not outstanding. People would expect outstanding vfx, epic fights , good storyline and music. Don't expect avengers endgame but loogan (except story). It is very ordinary. VFX are mostly used in scenery not in fights. It just feel like another ma dong seok movie. Story is nothing new already done many times.

She didn't eat anything but hides leaves as food for beetles who then secretes poison which she hide in medicine capsule to feed guard during CPR.

It is definitely good drama. I watched when it was airing and dropped it when was going towards makjang route in first few episodes. After watching Mary kills people I was reminded of it again.
It is somewhat blend of :graceful family" and "women of dignity" but it has learned from those drama and have few makjang moments than WOD but also less dark comedy then Graceful family but still has enough of those, It has somewhat cordial family and sismance. It seems story has three directors , Makjang in begining, Thriller in ending and sismance from mid to end. Also last few episodes editing is bad in sense scenes keep moving from one time period to another,
OST are okayish but wardrobe is good.
Overall good watch- 8+/10

LOL , It would be over in few episodes if she just said to police that killer is her father.

Inconsistency I noticed:
1- They are poor to have decent house and meals are suddenly have cars, equipments and at the end even heavy ammunition.
2- There were better ways to handle expose than gun fighting . They had evidence from break in and detective. They could have gone to politicians , media even international media. Simple email would have taken it.
3- They have phone turned on and even receive message from 2nd detective but he cant trace location.
4- they can beat whole building full of guards when required and can also be easily captured when required.
5- Group's many decisions defied common sense. No wonder they were defects. Oops.

Ending is bad in sense it does not follow common sense.

Lol , I don't get the ratings of 8 on this drama. As much as I like Won Jin Ah, bad script can't save this drama. There isn't much logic/comon sense used in script writing. Even acting cant save nonsense script.

I would recommend reading novel it is based on by name of "Way of Choices" , by Mao Ni writer of other more popular dramas " Joy of Life" and "Evernight" . Novel is very literary and poetic with its writing so much that even english translation feels very good.

Liking it very much. It is very lighthearted and slice of life kind drama. Only major problem I have is how arcs are developed . Show focuses on 2nd and 3red daughter , then 1st daughter, then 4th daughter and then 5th daughter. Upto 1st daughter it is fine as it also concurrently shows other main characters but starting from 4th daughter, other characters screen time is significantly reduced and by 5th daughter even other sister don't have much screen time. Not to mention Qiong Nu matchmaking is almost forgotten. I understand taking all character would have reduced pace and make little more complex but it would have been nice.
Also people are forgetting drama is based on fictional historical period , we don't project present values , morals and laws on minor and servant/slaves character but project on Main Characters behavior which drew criticism from viewers but these things are not outrageous to the point bashing drama. Those people should better watch modern dramas only ,

Not even close. although there are some evil cultivator arc but Han Li is standard /regular MC.
Whereas Fang Yuan is devil incarnate among demons. Even first arc of reverend insanity is too heavy for Han Li as MC.
RMJI is standard template for xianxia novels much like desolate era is for xuanhuan novels

There is something about moving on from dead lovers that always draws me in and
Cho Yi Hyun voice is icing on the cake. It is fairly good drama with good amount of comedy sombreness , romance and general direction of story. Acting is goo d and ost is okay.

There is too much skin smoothening done to Namkoong Min. It look good in some shots but not in many other shot.

They were dating during the filming but broke up due to commercial advertisement contract. Seoyoung married someone else and is now divorced and dating ML of filming Movie.

It is good film definitely above average . What happens to ratings. Production , Acting, Story are all good. May be Title and Poster is turning viewers away.
