You what is the reason they will no longer do bl drama
@Amelia Clarke sorry could you clarify this comment? Did you mean like to address op and ask why they weren't going to continue BL? or did you intend to say something along the lines of "you are the reason they will no longer do BL" because I think there may have been some confusion xD
I keep seeing a lot of comments complaining about how Ae/Perth is annoying this season because all he does is…
I didn't read the novel but wow... they really didn't explain anything LOL like rather than feeling empathy for Ae, I think I mostly feel... confusion?? like a drama should Not have to have the viewers rely on novel knowledge to have a grasp on what's going on its frustrating and poorly written... being 3 eps in and Ae's only character so far is "he's not here with me 3" with no other explanation is def tiring :/ like cmon lets pick up the pace!! tell us why!!
I feel like there's so much that I feel a lot of fans don't like abt the direction where this season is going, with poor writing and delivery, this whole season is lacklustre... like I know fans of s1 were SO excited for the next episode it was amazingly well done it's really a shame how s2 isn't even close to that level :// at least Perth's acting is still good ur right LMAO
Ok, I may be biased because I watched the drama first and then read the manga n keep in mind this is just my opinion, but, personally I found the drama to be way more impactful? Legit I cried every damn episode LOL I thought the actors did a superb job at bringing these characters to life, their acting was really natural and realistic!! I felt for them :< and I felt like the leads really were dating and in love the sweet scenes and the drama felt perfectly balanced for me :0 Not to mention the lighting and OST were amazing it was really nice to watch! Production aside, I also really enjoyed the additional scenes that were drama only such as Hitomi's character 'arc' where Akira totally redeemed himself LOL idk if i would have forgiven him for what he did if he didnt stand up for his sister and finally accept himself...
srry i dont wanna flag my whole comment as spoiler just for this one part lmao
[SPOILERRRRRRR] and finally overcoming his internalized homophobia by going against his parents... *chefs kiss* MWAH! [Spoiler over!]
Also the scene with Yuki's mom was so sweet TT
ofc the manga was still pretty good! and it did give us the wonderful plot and characters <3 but yea idk i just liked how the drama fleshed out the characters a little more and the flow was pretty good despite only having 4 eps !!
