I completely agree with you, except I think you mean ep 3 (see my comment below).

I just finished watching EP03, and I don't know if I want to keep watching. I can't forgive Kanade for kissing Masaki after everything. If she already knew that's how she felt, she should have just said no the the marriage proposal. I'll keep watching since I'm curious to see if she can redeem herself somehow, but i"m 99% sure there's no coming back from this. I'm predicting that Masaki has a brain tumor and her boyfriend/soon-to-be-ex will be the one to save him, even while knowing he's the one she cheated on him with.

So Yoshiko was raped and Yozo somehow blamed her for it? If I understood correctly, he felt that after her rape her innocence was gone, so he left her? It was hard to sympathize with him throughout the movie for me, but that was too much. Interesting movie, if somewhat scatterbrained, and I didn't figure out if he died out in the snow that one time, or what?

I enjoyed the movie, but IDK about that ending. Throwing the money away, after all that?! And why didn't the old man get any money, he survived too? And why wouldn't they just sleep with their room doors open? It's not like they locked anyway, but at least this way they could hear if anything happened in the hallway, which would have prevented the first misunderstanding in the first place, right? Anyway, I mainly watched it for Satomi, and I really liked seeing her play a different kind of character in this movie, she did great. The main actor, the one who survived, seemed to be overacting too much and was too whiny for my taste. Other than that, it was worth a watch.
