This show is so badly written... GMMTV writers used up all their potential for the ArmSandPo trio and gave up for the rest ahh

I've realized while watching episode 14 that one of the big reason GMMTV shows have lacked in quality writing recently is that they try to force some weirdly *educational* content in every episode. I want to watch something genuine, believable, not have the rules of consent and relationship 101 forced down my throat. But target demographic being tweens it's fair game I guess.

@Maxy If nobody was ever critical of anything, we would never get any improvement. If you just look a few years back, there used to be a complete erasure of skin ship between same sex couples, there was always the 'ex-girlfriend trope', constant homophobia, etc... And we spoke up, things evolved.

Now I'm speaking up against awful writing and lackluster acting, because really sometimes it feels like we are farm animals being fed whatever just because they know we'll eat it up. If more people asked for quality over quantity, then maybe GMMTV would hear us and work on their shortcomings. So no, I will not leave this comment section because you're angry I'm not appreciating this show as much as you'd like.

@Bl_fanaticcccc Who says I'm in the minority? I've seen a bunch of negative comments on this page... And many shy away from speaking up because of people like you who say their opinion doesn't matter.

How tf are they going to extend GunYotha's storyline until ep 16 and not make it utterly insufferable?

I'm bored out of my mind with them... GMMTV had the potential to create something actually interesting with Warit! I honestly would've been way more entertained if him and Yotha still had feelings for each other and the situation turned a bit more messy. What if Klao was right to be jealous all along? Now that's engaging drama. Instead they pull this nonsensical plot twist that doesn't go anywhere because happy endings are a requirement and GMMTV hates taking risks smh

I’m not one to be against nudity/lewd scenes, but really…

I hated the focus on Hyejong’s body (the director forced her to wear that tight dress, and was her showing her breasts really necessary??) and Sara’s forced sexual scenes (the drugs and tax evasion was more than enough to ruin her, why do we need to portray her masturbating in public and acting submissive under a man’s d***) .
This was all very unecessary and didn’t bring anything to the story.

I look forward to SK being more liberated regarding sexuality in their dramas but this was really not it :/

One thing that annoys me to bits is that Po doesn't turn on his damn camera!! It's literally the job he was hired for and they can't even make it look right ㅠㅠ Never mind aiming it at the correct height... that documentary is gonna be nothing but footage of their chest if he actually gets any hhhh

Right I haven't seen any drama with Santa in it so I can't say, but Perth was definitely one of my favorite actors since LBC! But ever since he hasn't gotten any good role where his talent could shine and it's a pity :(

For me to be able to feel the chemistry I also need to believe there's a strong reason they would fall in love with each other... but the pace is way too fast to make this even slightly believable, i don't really know how to explain it but it felt like since we know they will get together anyways, they didn't put any effort in showing each character's pov and the way their feelings are 'developping' feels forced, hence the no chemistry comment.

PerthSanta's storyline feels like it was written by chatGPT with its "cheerful innocent guy trying to cover his past trauma meets cold dark guy who's actually soft inside" cliché... I feel it's a pity for them because we all know they can act but the writing isn't helping and the chemistry is barely there :(

IMO most GMMTV actors are amateurish. Forcing them with the same partner over and over again is not doing them any favor. I suggested to pair him with Dunk to challenge their skills, not because I think Dunk is a great actor. Pond would have to learn how to interact with someone from a different background and skillset while Dunk could learn from a more experienced actor.

I get it’s entertaining to mock me but what I meant by that is that GMMTV is ackin to a content farm, as in they do not value their customers, nor their actors, writers or directors.

The goal here is to be as productive as possible, at the expense of quality. Most GMMTV shows are mediocre, with the occasional success of a mostly well written, directed and acted drama like Not Me, Bad Buddy or Only Friends.

I think it’s fair to criticize a company for the half assed content they produce, and their reluctance to take risks (read: change ships) because they value quantity over quality, don’t you think..?

This might sound dumb but i see Pond better paired with a woman.
If we stay in BL, acting wise maybe Mark Pakin? Though they look pretty similar so on screen they might be an odd fit. I also think Pond would fit well with Joong.
Other than that, we can see that Dunk has been improving recently in The Heart Killers, so pairing them could give a challenge to both, but we would need a solid plot and directing which is asking a lot for GMMTV...

Pond has said before that he likes darker concepts while Phuwin is definitely better at comedy, so I do think it would be best for both to part ways and shine in new projects separately regardless of shippers' sentiments.

Why didn't they give Pond's role to Fluke he is so much more natural and would actually have chemistry with Poon ㅠㅠ

I have to agree that Pond is more natural than Phuwin. I wish they would give him a different partner to improve his range, but once again this ship fandom thing gets in the way smh

girl maybe my comment was a bit harsh but I still have a right to criticize subpar work when I see it, i'm a consumer too
