that female teacher annoys me so much there is absolutely no life behind her eyes!! how did she get cast for this role when everyone else outplays her... the awful dubbing doesn't help
You know what they could've done? Instead of selling it as an OffGun office romance and not delivering at all, they could've used Pie as kind of an omniscient character, observing all the relationships and hardships of people working around her. Making her the center of this drama would've helped immensely because atm there is literally no storyline holding all of it together. Sure we're starting and ending with Ryan's romance, but we lost him in the middle, making him more of a side character in his own story.
Overall this drama is very badly written and disappointing and I'll just keep skipping to Off scenes because he's hot in these button up shirts

Tbh I also only started it for OffGun... but they have little to no screen time which is a big part of why this show is annoying me. Just looking at the poster, they sold it as an OffGunn office romance but didn't deliver at all 😭 If I went blindly into it I would genuinely believe Bahmee to be the main character of the show...

Or they could use the trainee/superior trope and add toxicity/bad consequences from the bosses, show how they know that what is going on is wrong, how they would try to hide from everyone else, etc.. basically they could make it realistic without letting go of the premise! But no, with GMMTV it's always a fantasy world where everything you do has no real consequence :(

I’ve watched countless thai dramas and from experience the vast majority do more or less lack good writing and directing, it’s just a fact and it’s mainly due to seemingly often hiring very young and inexperienced directors and staff, as well as budget restrictions.
GMMTV is a machine that knows how to produce countless dramas every year to exploit its money makers aka BL stars. In itself it isn’t a bad thing, it gives opportunities to newcomers and gives a spotlight to the LGBT community. No, I have nothing against lesbian characters, and I am happy that they get more represented. But just like shows like Love By Chance where everyone and their dad being gay felt a little forced, turning Bahmee gay felt honestly like a reach, and considering her storyline kinda took over the show for a few episodes it just emphasized how the production lacked content regarding the JaneRyan couple.
And overall if you compare this show to most popular soap operas, or dramas in the same vein, yes, the editing and directing is lacking. The cuts and framing are questionable, mainly in ‘gag’ scenes, the pace is often too slow when they try to convey urgency, etc.
So yeah, overall, I believe this show has bad writing, bad editing and directing (and some bad acting too ngl).
I’m hoping to see some negative consequences of Jane/Ryan pursuing this very inappropriate office romance, or at least them waiting until Ryan isn’t an intern anymore or else this series will really feel like yet another case of bad writing by GMMTV

Oh trust me when I say I dislike brainless romances with no depth. Which is exactly what this is. Thai bls have been trying to incorporate more ‘serious’ backstory and character development into their plot as it’s what people are (rightfully) asking for…
But more often than not, it doesn’t cut it (at least for me). It’s sometimes the actor’s fault, most of the time it’s bad writing and bad directing. Nothing in this series feels natural, especially Bahmee discovering feelings for a girl in the five days she’s been ignored by her hard working boyfriend whom she previously couldnt stay away from longer than five minutes… You mean to tell me they didn’t try this gimmick to wedge in a lesbian scene? That this is just ‘good writing’?

This is so bad i don't get the praise... The show is supposed to be about Ryan and Jane but they barely have any screen time compared to Ba Mhee and Tae's insufferable relationship! They could have cut the running time in half if they lacked that much inspiration for the main couple smh
