Conversations, lines and acting are top notch but the fighting scenes left me a lot for desire tbh (they look weighty and sluggish at times for me). Some of the plot moving devices I aslo find quite unrealistic. Like sure Xiao Fang didnt really want to kill the kid but with his fighting ability he cant even capture the little guy? (especially when he got close and managed to put the spear on the kid). Still quite engaging tho. Hard to skipp any of Chen Kun dramas

Is Chen Kun character gonna be a villain? Feels like it after ep6 reveal

What kind of accent/dialect does PingPing character speak? She sounds so different from the other

The actress slays her roles every time I saw her on dramas. The Glory, Song of Youth etc. and now this. Incredible acting prowess

Is this Huchen or HuShen? Im not sure. But if its Hushen and from my subtitle it means Tiger God/Tiger Spirit

Second best drama this year for me. Onlythis drama and Swords into Plowshares make me impatiently waiting for new episodes

Already so many annoying A-holes and we are not even arrive at the capital yet 😂

Is the poorly-written/sidelined character in the room with us? Are we watching the same drama 😂? I would even argue that this is way better than the usual cold, nearly perfrct, always aura farming MLs that we have seen countless dramas already.

Not really tho. The Khitans later got sandwiched by the Jurchens and the Song dynasty. Its the Jurchens actually drived yhe Song dynasty to the South and found Jin dynasty

Zhen Niang actions and manners becoming more and more like her mother's 😆. Props to ZYT acting

Its subtle but i think they allude that a lot of generals and miltary personnels respect 9th prince more than 7th (based on previous deeds and he actually killed someone right infront of the court) so Hu jinshi scares of him more. There a conversation with Hu and his son that none of the genedals come visiting him after the incident.
