Nothing comes of it, as soon as she gets with the ML, the lawyer walks away and get his own love srory, (a better one)there is no battle for her affection, it's all very amicable.
Ikr. I'm questioning the fact that he wasted his whole youth to catch them, but only to have the main villain…
To be fare, he had lived his youth once already. But yes all the bad guys get out of jail on mass, and some even get the chance to go back to working as a prosecutor (which is insane, who would trust the prosecution). Guess that was the real reason for his holiday to Bali ;)
Felt the last scene was stupid (I mean they must have low opinion of peoples intelligence) and I was hoping for a far bigger crescendo in bad guys fall from grace. But well worth a watch.
I liked it, a good simple story, no filler episodes, good chemistry and genuinely funny in places. Yes there where many clichés, but I didn't mind them (actually I liked them) as long as there done well. A good solid 8.5.
Besides as the Beatles said 'all you need is love'.
