The ending is perfect, makes a lot of sense, and tied everything together. Enjoyed this season a lot more than the last (personally did not like the Beach arc much during the first season).
Also wanted to show appreciation for Usagi and Arisu since the main characters are usually not the most liked since they are usually written as more “boring.” Totally loved Usagi this season and her action scenes (Tao Tsuchiya did most of her own stunts training for 6 months)! Glad she got more screen time here compared to the last season. Some people call her boring but I personally like her calm personality along with her good morals. She’s generally just a nice person.
At first, I did think Arisu was a bit less “strong” of a character this season compared to the last since he solved way more of the games last season, but it’s also nice to see his flaws rather than being a completely OP character. He is literally the heart of the group and tries his best to bring people together.
Loved all the side characters too of course (my favorite being Kuina and Ann)!

Agreed whole heartedly. Especially on Usagi. I loved her so much. People call her “boring” but she’s such a good female lead with good morals, good fighting skills, and just a generally good person. Sometimes it’s okay for a character to just be nice lol. There’s barely any appreciation for her though she’s such a good person.

Yeah I mentioned this already in the comments but I honestly did enjoy their romance. But then again I could just be biased to KenTao because I’ve watched them since Mare. Love their onscreen chemistry.

I also really liked their romance too! I think it balanced out the story well. I read the manga previously too so I already knew where their relationship was heading. It was nice to see their warm moments when the whole story is pretty dark. Maybe I’m biased to KenTao, but I always love their onscreen chemistry.
Really enjoyed this season! Binged both seasons witin the past few days - I personally like this season a bit better because I thought the Beach Arc wasn’t that great in the first season. Some of the dialogue can be a bit draggy and the pacing is a bit slow in some places but really enjoyed this season overall. I grew to really love the characters and have become way more attached to them this season than the last. Also really love the ending (I know not everyone did) and the message of this drama overall. Great work from the cast and everyone!
