Ha Kyung's mother is annoying as hell but after episode 13 I hope that she's going to help her make up her mind and stay with Shi Woo. At least we got some cute moments with Tae Kyung&director Kim.
I wanted to like this drama but episode 10 was so boring and at this point, I don't really care for any character. The only storyline that kept me somehow interested was Joo Hee and a young chef but they have so little screen time that I lost hope for any development. Seon Woo's sister is getting more screen time than them....
I'm enjoying this drama but I couldn't take seriously the last scene from episode 8....It was just a stupid plot device and I was laughing instead of being terrified by the villain lol Another thing that annoys me is plot armor and a 45 kg petite woman beating up a bunch of thugs without a sweat. Please stop with this ridiculousness.
I can watch anything with noona romance in it and still there would be something for me to enjoy that's why I can be biased here. I've spent a really good time with this drama. I remember starting it when it aired and dropping like it was a hot potato after 6 episodes. Yesterday I picked it up again and binged watched the whole series. It's not a masterpiece but it's heartwarming and easy to watch. I just don't understand why they put so much drama at the end. The last scene was ridiculous and the whole plot with mother at the end was unnecessary. The acting could be better from the Go Ah Ra but she did a good enough job to portray a naive and good-natured young woman. It's 7,5 from me.
In my opinion, it's an average drama. It's not bad but also nowhere near being a masterpiece. The episodes are really long and unfortunately, you can feel it. I liked some of the characters and their stories were engaging but what bothered me the most was the way they portrayed life in prison. I understand that the director and screenwriter wanted to focus on the human side of prisoners and their struggles behind bars but it felt like they were on vacation and not in prison. 6,5/10 from me.
I was on board with this drama from the beginning but now I'm getting annoyed. There is just not enough "love" and too much "weather" in it. Just how many scenes the main leads have been completely alone? They got together almost from the start and now are living and working at the same place and still there is almost nothing intimate between them. I hope for some fluff and cute scenes next week between all that angst and drama.
I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying this drama. I'm not a fan of romantic comedies so it's hard to keep me interested in this genre. But here I am smiling and laughing out loud at the ridiculousness and cheesiness in this drama.
Hey guys, I haven't seen this drama yet but since the chinese tiktok is going crazy about it i decided to check…
I learned long ago, never to trust MDL's ratings. They're trash. Many great dramas are rated low and cliche romances with wooden acting but with pretty faces are on top.
Great drama! I should wait till the end to start it. It's very touching and warm despite tragedy awaiting one of the characters. The acting, cinematography, music, and pacing are fitting to the overall plot. I also think that people who are 30+ or at least 25+ can enjoy this drama much more than the younger audiences. I can't wait for episode 7! Why oh why I've binged 6 episodes in one day :(
Are you asking about horror/thriller k-dramas? I've enjoyed Possesed, Strangers from Hell , Kingdom, All of Us Are Dead, Hellbound, The Silent Sea, Search, Hometown, Search.
Episode 2 was great! Now I'm regretting starting it now because it's going to be a real torture to wait a week for new episodes. I really liked the argument scene between Jin Ha Kyung and Han Ki Joon. She's much fiercer and more confident than she seemed in the first episode. Also, Jin Ha Kyung and Lee Shi Woo look good together and have great chemistry.
I think I had too many expectations watching this drama. At some point (somewhere in the middle) it started to be repetitive and uninteresting for me. I couldn't connect to the characters. I think it is a well-produced show with good acting and atmosphere but I just couldn't care less for the story or characters. There are couple of horror k-dramas that I enjoyed much more than this one. It's 6,5/10 from me.
What a gem! I've found this drama by a total coincidence and didn't know what to expect. It turned out that I've enjoyed it a lot. There were some very heavy topics but they handled them well without unnecessary drama. All in all, it's worth the time. The production team managed to make me laugh, smile, cry, and even get angry but at the end of the day, it left me with a warm and satisfying feeling.
