If you like soulless constipated looking psychopaths who torture their own children I guess :)
s/he mentioned actress, not the character. one has to be able to separate the two.

That's what the character is like, it has nothing to do with Bohyun. He is potraying a character whose wounds are not as fresh as CWI's, he said that himself. He can't even remember what his parents looked like and also many details are being kept secret because he as a child couldn't ask questions or look into things properly. He was only propmted to seek for answers once CWI appeared in his life. So, it is completely unnatural for him to explosively seek revenge or smth like that.

Ahn Yoo Ra's character pretending not to know how to code or use computers is one of those genuinely comic and smart fragments on the side characters that rarely happen. We all follow the protagonists and antagonists but we rarely pay attention to the side characters like these.

but damn he became a mass murder
Yup, the preview made us anticipate that it might be him but if the good old kdrama recipe is followed - it's not going to be him. Still, I'd expect that to happen in this type of setting. The soliloquy or monologue at the end of the 12th ep gave a really good sum-up of why that happened. I'm just wondering about something though. DBM knew why he's sending him into a genuinely deranged and messed up unit (not just to keep him in control under the guy whose bank was destroyed by NTN). So, I'm wondering if they will show whether DBM had anticipated this sequence of events to occur.

they better give bad guys a proper goodbye ending. Otherwise it is total shit. Vincenzo had best revenge scenes…
literally, despite the fact that this story is fiction - just the thought of what some of these characters do is really giving me trauma and I agree about a Vincenzo-style ending. Still, I think that, somehow, the writers made the script in a way that mfs always end up destroying themselves. That would be an ok resolution for me too. I'd really be disappointed if they proceed to make any sort of open-ending finale.

I just watched ep 10 and i'm a little confused, what happend with that soldier beside Noh Tae Nam, who went to…
sexual abuse, the victim had decided to put up with it but it is still an abuse.

Watched up to the latest ep and imo the plot is just average and not connect to me at deep level. Seen the same…
I guess that you prefer in-depth realistic portrayals of people and stories. Not all type of drama are meant to give you in-depth background and information. Some stick to portraying fragments and the rest is up to viewer perception and imagination.

This is SO CUTE. I can't believe how much I missed this kind of dramas. Actually, this is a funnier, cuter and…
totally agree, and unlike early 2010s dramas there is less unecessary crazy-ass cringe scenes.

Even though I feel a bit sad about watching 12 ep only, I think that it is a perfect format for this type of drama. This is definitely one of the best cliche rom-com dramas involving chaebol male and normal female protagonists. Y'all gotta watch this!

The only complaint that I have now after watching episode 8 was her mother and that song Stand by your Man, Sometimes…
her mother has absolutely no STOP button in her head that would prevent her from shitting at everything IN EVERY SINGLE EPISODE.

Her mother was too extra and overacting Oh she was a double standard tooIf I had a choice I would never allow…
yup, her mom is a frustrated woman with an inferiority complex. she's successful in projecting it into her children. she has no boundaries while her husband, as well as her children, didn't bother to set them up. there is no way that jin ah will not suffer from that way of parenting, e.g. she silently put up with the sexual harassment in the workplace. Just look at the first couple of episodes, where her mother blamed her for being cheated at. Jin Ah is old enough and has a stable paycheck. She could have afforded to live on her own. Also, I felt overwhelmed with her mother's shitshow in every single episode, as nothing stops her. She can't sit still without shitting on everybody and everything. do you think that her husband should slap her? I disagree, that is violence. I'd say that her father is not meek. He is a normal person, while her mother is someone who should have spent time with a psychologist or psychiatrist to solve her issues.

Name should be 'Bad Script' rather than 'Bad Love'. Had high hopes for this drama from the beginning, Yong Ki's…
It's 2007 drama. Back then, having these fluctuations of suspense, seemingly stupid and dangerous situations and characters was a thing. In the first couple of episodes you get to have a good time, and everything else until the end makes you hate yourself for watching it.

This is one of my first kdramas and damn, when I go back from this perspective, what a difference. Back in the day, I didn't get much why is it so dramatic in the literal sense. I'm certainly glad that kdrama had improved in terms of acting and topic treatment since then.

prison sentence for adultery ?????are you kidding me? I can't believe what I'm seeing ... in 21th century in South…
yup, this is 2007 drama, that law was cancelled in 2015 and it lasted for about 60 years. I watched this drama about ten years ago while that law was still on function and couldn't believe that either.

Title Now, We Are Breaking Up Spoiler
So, as a non-Korean, and non-Asian, who is in kdrama world for more than a decade, I'd like to share my views here. I see many of you labeling Hye Kyo's character as an "angry middle-aged woman".

First of all, Song Hye Kyo portraits seemingly flat characters and that is her thing. If you were able to endure early Park Shin Hye or Lee Min Ho dramas, or even DOTS, you will have no problem watching this drama. Disclaimer: I do not make a comparison between this drama and DOTS (or any of PSH and LMH dramas. I'm just saying that if you were able to watch and fangirl about these dramas you can successfully endure cringe and low-quality plot).

Furthermore, unlike her other dramas, Hye Kyo portrays perfectly the character and if you were a 40-year-old woman, working on your career prospects from scratch, in the high-profile industry, you would be angry too. She portrays a person with 10+ year-long experience, who knows the priorities and how to make her goals come true. She ain't got time for a shitshow. So, if you expect an FL character who acts as if she is on crack for 16 episodes, you certainly are in the wrong place. South Korea, on the other hand, is a men-centric society, where the wealthiest keep top executive roles for their own family members regardless of whether they are fitting for the position or not. Given the circumstances, I'd say that many of you who, see her as unfit for the ML, would give up life in a matter of seconds if you were in her place, for the fact that you cannot perceive years of work and effort behind FL's character.

Jang Ki Young is, on the other hand, an actor who is not portraying round characters either. He does not have an acting background, given that fact, he is still getting experience. I agree that he is good-looking, and he isn't that bad at acting. These characters obviously fit their acting skills and I don't see why is anybody being disappointed. On the other hand, his character is a man approaching his 30s. Someone whose easy-going lifestyle was possible to achieve with family's financial support. So, he spent 10+ years in one of the EU countries with the highest life expenses. If you were from a low-income family, 10 thousands kilometers away from home- you wouldn't be as easygoing and pursuing an unstable career. He does portray a successful photographer and has spent years building that career but his circumstances highly differ from FL's.

Finally, this is something that you should consider when judging the drama, characters, and their lives. When drama is slow progressing during the first 10 episodes, I usually leave it until it is completed. I'd suggest for those who got disappointed in the first 4 episodes to do the same. If you expect inexperienced, insecure, and FL character on crack - this is not the right place for you. Also, the way this romance between the main leads is starting to progress reminds me a lot about Search: WWW. I am not sure how will this progress for the remaining 12 episodes, but as of now, it is really watchable.

Also, there are things revolving around the side characters, that are also worth of attention. I'm on 4th episode, and I will not go prophesizing on what might happen or not in the end. All in all, do not read comments when deciding whether you are going to watch something but give it some thought on why certain things keep going on the way they do.

well mdl comments do not usually corelate with drama's actual quality or its watch worthy.

I'm not sure its realistic to show kind, handsome young men - with, lets face it, better options - falling instantly…
That's so wrong, on so many levels.
