Wow so much hype since 2022 for this drama and then I was like they’ll release it at the start of 2023 for sure…
Scratch my previous comment lol. There's already a listing for season 2. Imma skip this one then. Shame for my baby Seo Joon😫

The story will be fine I think. The main problem is I hope they don't go the way of many other Netflix sponsored Kdramas - open ending with really unnecessary season 2. Worst is these shows are rarely renewed. If so, most comes out like 5 years later when we forgot all about it.

When they hit you with the "need 10,000 years to rematerialise body" ending😂

I feel like this drama's production needed to know this one thing: female leads can be strong without pushing down on males. Every other episode is a laughably chavunistic man, like that overtly racist white character yelling the N word in American movies. First 20 minutes of 1st episode we have a team of females beating up men to introduce them as 'strong'.
New Life Begins did the feminist theme better. The characters all had their own strengths and flaws, motivations and values. Rather than this one, where males are polarised into knight in shining armor and Angry Mr Patriarchal. Either they accept the unsolicited abuse and misunderstanding (the ML), or they are the villain.
It feels like one big compilation of woman vs the patriarchy scenarios rather than a cohesive story, which is the main issue with many of these types of dramas.
