It's true that you need a specific mindset to watch most BLs, I used to be unable to bear Thai dramas until I got used to them. I guess its kind of similar to reading harlequins, the plots are usually similar and it will get tiring after some time. I did kind of get sucked into the world of BL because of watching The Untamed, so I guess I started with high expectations and they got lower over-time.

I'm kind of wondering if this BL drama phase will pass or stay with me, and it makes me kind of sad when I think that I might not see the sequels of some series I like, but it won't probably matter much in the future. I used to watch romance dramas maybe ten years ago, but now I don't even think about starting straight series, I got spoiled by all the gay content xD Though there are some really cool dramas that don't have much romance in them like Arthdal Chronicles or My Country.

I saw some things on Instagram about this series, though I don't know if I shouldn't take a break from Thai BL . For ManType I might reconsider ;)

Anyone else being really torn about watching the second season when it airs? Cos' on the one hand no other show made me unship smth I was excited about, but on the other hand, I'd like to see more ManType... and also I'm kind of curious if they can make it any worse by throwing in more jealousy tropes and high fives ...
