I’m just starting to watch this (I know, I found it a little late), but I’m only 15 minutes into the first…
One of the first things I noticed was exactly that. I saw her other roles in the past and she acts fine but for some reason in this on she acts a bit differently. I don't know maybe the original korean role acted like so they made her act like that.
One weird thing I noticed was that the japanese subtitles for this show uses a lot of full width spaces between a lot of the words to the point where almost every new word is separated with a space like english is.
Thought it was okay. Far from perfect, it was just your typical romance j drama. Cast did a good job. Kind of got boring later into the show for me but I still was interested enough to watch the whole thing.
It's weird that the only family member of the bride and groom that attended the wedding was Tendou's sister. None of the other family members that they introduced in the show appeared in it.
I am pretty sure Blackpink was a sponsor so that's why it was mentioned a couple times in the show. I've seen musical groups promoting themselves in shows but the first time seeing a kpop one.
Did anyone notice with the start of the tokyo part that there was a lot more appearance of foreigners. Like in the first episode in tokyo, the sushi restaurant, Mizusu's boyfriend, and the taxi with a big "we speak english" sticker. I haven't finished the tokyo part yet but I am sure there will be more stuff like this. I think because this show was made by NHK (Japan's public broadcasting) they wanted to show japan as more cosmopolitan and diverse. Maybe I am looking to deep into it but thought that was interesting.
Yoshida Rinne sang the song that was in the movie.
