Watching while a drama is on air and binge watching it are two entirely different feeling. This drama was really good to watch while it was on air and was filled with positive comments and is one of the biggest hits in recent times. But if you are not into fully romcoms and cute leads then you wont get the hype.

She hardly manages to have chemistry and looks awkward in romantic scenes while badass characters like bitna suits her. Damsel in distress/helpless face expressions don't suit her. Hope she continues to do dramas like this.
From dramas, after sky castle this is her best drama and character.

Overall it was a good watch. I kept it on hold after ep 8 and picked it up few days ago and finished it today. The leads were great. Liked both of them equally and the child artists playing the leads were super adorable. I love it when the kid fl calls the ml baby and my baby. It might be a very unpopular opinion but the sfl annoyed me with her pouty expressions all the time. Her acting looked very artificial. I found the ml's parents way more entertaining than the second lead couple. Their scenes together were hilarious. Like father like son 😂. Welcome to samdalri, lovely runner and love next door all have super wipped male leads who got that trade from their fathers. 🤭 I liked the wardrobe of the fl and the ml's mother. If you don't have comprehension skills I cannot help it. Nowhere did I say romcoms have higher rating. If you cannot differentiate dramas according to genres it's not my fault. Dramas/movies that are on the happier side have more re-watch value and is more of a relaxed watch than dramas/movies with heavier content. I am not saying every single person on this planet are the same. I am talking about kdrama audience. People who are salty about the success of a small drama like LR is really something else. Just accept the fact that this drama clicked with a vast majority of the audience in its own homeland as well as internationally and move on.
