Same. The dramas that gets popular in south korea are comparatively better made and better acted than dramas that are more successful abroad.

These dramas had way more intensity and drama than a simply romcom like LR. Vincenzo, iotnbo and goblin aren't even romcoms. LR gives way more serotonin than all the dramas you named. It's re-watch value is also higher as it's more fluffy and happy. Also all these dramas are Netflix dramas with big names and promoted highly so most people started watching those dramas with high expectations from the started itself while LR is a small drama with no big names and not promoted well and not on Netflix. It's hype and success is solely based on word of mouth.
Explain why Vincenzo has an 8.9 and fiery priest has 8.6 when both have similar story line and comes under the same genre.

The drama ended more than 4 months ago and a bunch of people still cannot get over it's success and rating. The drama is been rated high not just in mdl but by every other articles and is either on 1st or 2nd position for the best drama of the year.
If there are bots to give it high rating then there are bots to give it low rating as well.
People who binge watch it after seeing all the hype wont get how good of a watch it was when it was ongoing. It got hype because it deserved it and got it through word of mouth and not because it was promoted well or had A list well known actors with huge fandoms.

Why do you care about this one having higher ratings than dramas with different genres like vincezo or iotnbo. This is a full on romcom with no family drama and is a much easier watch with not much complications. It's more of a happy watch than other dramas. So obviously people will be more relaxed watching this.

Neither of those drama made half the nose this one made esp in south korea. Weightlifting fairy was a flop and so was true beauty. TB was a hit only overseas. 25-21 had A list actors and aired on Netflix and was more of a youth drama than a proper romcom.

This drama overall was a decent watch and it could have been if they cast a good actor in mirae's role. She had huge screentime and importance but only had one annoyed expression.
The father and mother were really good.

Sorry to burst your bubble but due to LR, for the first time Korean streaming site TVing had more viewership than Netflix. The drama is as much of a hit in Korea as it's overseas and not any drama becomes that big of a hit among Korean general public like it does outside Korea. If only teenagers can make a drama hit in Korea then all dramas starring popular k-pop idols would be having high views in Korea.

Since you are not a highschooler you should know how to differentiate dramas based on their genre. I guess some people don't have common sense even after passing highschool.

His voice is good. His voice and dialogue delivery is the main reason he is watchable. His expressions are pretty stiff otherwise

This drama is such a mood maker. Love watching this. Some scenes are super hilarious and the leads look good together

Hyeyoon was already well known when LR released and her airport videos have the same views as bws and are much higher than other celebs. She just had a successful fan meet and her new drama announcement is getting positive reactions.
She also won jury awards for LR recently and already won couple of popularity awards as well.
Also in the other show both didn't get equally popular. One was already a big A list star with multiple super successful dramas.
