You surely have the right to not like it or not find it funny but why exaggerate a simple comedy scene into something way bigger than what it is?
Some countries hang a criminal, some gives life sentense and some gives just 2-3 yrs in prison for the same crime. It totally depends on the country. Maybe south korea simply isn't strict with its aviation laws. Also in the drama it's shown he was supposed to be questioned by do hwan for it but the superior set him free. So ya he got out easily because someone pulled some strings.
You do realise this is a drama and his lie didn't make anyone loose any money around the world in real life, right?

In Joo and doil have an open ending.

In friends Phoebe stopped a plane saying the left philangi is not working and here he said their is a bomb. Both are comedy scenes and should be scene just as comedy. As far as I know except for friction between north and south korea, sk is a relatively safer country with not much terrorist attacks or threads. He stopped the plane to catch a criminal and sk might not be that strict with airport laws. In my country prosecutors don't have the power to investigate like sk. So obviously there is a difference in the law system.
since this is more of a comedy crime drama the makers can use creative liberty as much as they want.
From the premises itself it's clear that this drama isn't supposed to be taken too seriously.
Also he didn't arrest his superior. He only said that.

In Hye is said to be a genius artist and if you have noticed geniuses that too in the art field are mostly shown to pretty weird and lives in their own bubble. In Hye hearing voice was when she smelled the orchid and when she sat in that orchid room. If you remember we also thought hyorin is psychic for drawing the death scene of HW and the makers even made it look like the show had supernatural elements at the start. But later it was revealed she used to play in that storeroom and has seen the replica sanga made multiple times. Its mostly the way the drama has been shot. Its kind of similar to how in hye thought about her dead sister. As I said early they used hyper realism a lot in the drama to confuse the audience.
If you read the difference b/w alcohol abuse and alcohol dependence you will see in Kyung had symptoms of alcohol abuse. She used alcohol as a coping mechanism for her inner struggle. She used to take alcohol in the amount of a mouth wash. Even a glass full of alcohol will wear out its effect after an hour. Also its effect depends on the person's alcohol capacity. The fact that most people never noticed her drinking alcohol at work shows she never really got drunk at work or took to the amount were people could simply smell it. Pjs knew about it because he has been keeping tab on her the same way sanga was keeping tab on in joo. Here alcoholism was used to show that she had inner struggle and difficulties in dealing with her emotions and not as an awareness against alcoholism.

The makers did this drama dirty. In my region it's not available in any official streaming sites. Kocowa isn't even there on my playstore and Viki shows its not available in your region. 🙄
I never came across any other kdrama in recent times that's not available in India. Even Disney+ kdramas that are not available in most regions are available here. Almost all the Netflix content from across the globe is available in Netflix India. Why is this one not in any of the official streaming sites in India?

She don't really have any trauma. In Hye always talks in a mysterious way. Her conversation with sanga when she was kidnapped show how she don't get affected by more than half the things happening around her. The girl got kidnapped and might possibly get killed but still she wasnt afraid of sanga and sanga was surprised by it. She was like it's almost sure i will die here then what's the use to crying or screaming. 😂
She isn't much of an emotional person.
The drama is a suspense thriller and they tried to keep the suspense intact as much as possible and that explains why it's only 12 episodes. Most suspense thrillers fizz out when it's 16 episodes. If we go through the
reviews most will say they lost interest by 12-13th episode.
If they go around explaining too much into things that don't contribute much to the main plot then it will look stretched and the audience will catch up to the suspense before they could reveal it.
In Kyung used to drink in small quantity by giving gap in between. So she exactly wasn't a total drunken. She don't really get drunk. even poison taken in small quantity can make someone immune to that. She was an alcohol abuse and not alcohol depend. Both are
considered to be alcoholic but one don't show physical withdrawal syndromes like hand shaking, vomitting etc we are used to seeing.

By the end of ep 4 you will get your answer.

Its made clear that in hye knew about the dead sister because their mother used to tell about the dead sister when she got drunk. Its like something that's put into her head when she was little and she though she will end up like her dead sister because they both have the same genetic disease. Then her imaginations started getting wild after smelling the orchid which gives hallucinations. Its like how at the start they made the orchid look like something more than what it actually is. They used hyper realism a lot in the drama.

It reminds me of the fiery priest more than bad and crazy but less dark compared to both.
