In Kyung is already strong and emotionally independent. In Joo is the one that needed to work on herself. She was the one throughout her life though her way out of poverty was through a man. She is the one that needs to find out what she wants to do with her life.
Same with doil. All his life he only wanted to get out of that family and now he is finally free he also needs to find what he wants.
Its good that they didn't jump into a relationship after going through all that.
Getting the main characters together just for the sake of it is an outdated idea.

Sanga is a psychopath. She don't feel any remorse or even thinks she did anything wrong. There is literally no use of her putting in jail. She might end up coming back worst. Her being alive is a constant thread to the sisters and the society.

I might be in the minority but i am totally fine with doil and in Joo not being together officially.
In Joo in her whole life though only a rich guy can help her out of her poverty and her dream was to get married to a rich guy. She never cherished herself. Its good that she chose to be with herself than jump into a relationship right after all the crazy stuff she went through.
Also they are still in contact and may be in the future she will meet doil with a clean slate.
He also needs to work on himself after him being forced to work with sanga's family as long as he can remember.

In Joo all her life though being with a rich guy was the way out and never cherished herself enough. So it's totally understandable why doil and in Joo didn't end up together. She needs to live herself first and enjoy life on her own before being with someone else. Also it's not like they are not in contact at all. Maybe in the future they might end up together.

She found out about sanga killing HW's dupe, saved the video and send it to her sisters. She was literally the only one that sanga couldn't get through and wasn't afraid of her in any way. She at times looked like a bigger psycho than sanga 😂. She didn't freak out even for a minute when sanga kidnapped her and that amazed even sanga.
She isn't very expressive with her feelings and in the last episode clearly said why she wanted to stay away from her sisters. She did love her sisters but not in the way they loved her. She is the youngest and the sisters knows how she is. She don't need to have a face to face talk with them for her to expression what they mean to her.

The judge at the start stated in Joo is not guilty. So she clearly don't have to serve jail time. But since she possessed the money for a short period of time and had intentions to use them she got probation.

The boss and reporter bitch are like lower level members of the orchid society. They don't hold any importance after the downfall of the society and they haven't done anything which can be pointed against them. The boss is known to be a good journalist and does his work well as long as the orchid society is not involved in any of his cases. What exactly is there to put against the reporter bitch? Having biased views or twisting the truth. That's like what 90% of the news channels around the world does.

I guess they cannot show the murder without blurring out faces in real. Its a drama so they can take creative liberty. I also noticed that when in Joo was arrested there was no female officer and it was night. In my country a female cannot be arrested without a female police officer present and cannot be arrested after 6pm and before 6am. Also victim's name and identify cannot be revealed through news channels. The law might be different in sk.
Choi doil got out within a day after getting arrested. So sanga not getting arrested is understandable. If i am not wrong video and audio evidence are secondary proves. Even after confessing on her own HW was also not jailed right away. The police first needs to file a case and then get an arrest warrant to take sanga. Since she has lawyers at her speed dial they can get a bail before head.

There is Lee do Hyun in 18 again as well but he is younger. 😂

Don't think there will be S2. Kdramas rarely do second seasons. Also if there was a S2 they would have announced it by now.

If we go by screen time she had more screentime than doil's parents, in Kyung's seniors, that thug secretary of pjs etc. But will be categorised under extended cameo instead of supporting role. I don't know if the actress playing HW is well reputed in Korea or not but when big actors play these kind of characters they are mostly categorised under cameo or extended cameo/guest role rather than supporting cast. Oh Jung Se had proper screentime in the first 2 episodes but he will be a cameo. He also had more screentime than some of the supporting actors.

She is the one that found out about sanga being involved with HW's fake death. She provided proof for that and warned in Joo at the right time in Singapore.
Also not every character is there just to serve some.purpose to the main plot. Inhye and hyorin was there to show that neither all the money in the world not immense love from family can make a person happy. Hyorin had the money but never felt loved, inhye had unconditional love from her sisters but wanted more than just love. There should be balance of both and they found the balance in each other.
The drama has a lot of layers and each characters represents something.

She was mentioned in almost every episode but did she appear in almost all episodes?
She came in flashback in some episodes just like uk's father used to come. Since aos had 20episodes and had way more characters his presence might have felt lesser than HW's. They both kind of had the same impact on the entire story.

I like your take on Vietnam war and America. In the cold war usa and ussr destroyed a lot of countries by using their land for proxy war. If there is one thing i respect about India's then Prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru is that he didn't sided with either of them and made non alliance moment. He didn't let either of them interfere in India's internal matters.

The writing of this drama is quite brilliant but people need to have patience with it. Its not a drama that puts twists for the sake of it.
