I still remember how these exact Netizens tried to destroy KSH by accusing of a scandal. if it isn't Dispatch,…
it wasnt the netizens it was his ex-gf that tried to ruin his career... when both sides of the story got revealed majority supported him...
also what does a celebs personal controversy have to do with a drama?

if an enemy enters a country and creates problems, that country cannot stay quite and be like 'i wont do anything…
we definitely are off topic... lol
if a terrorist made an attack in a country and got caught after that another country or human rights activities cannot say that the country should protect the human rights of that terrorist... its injustice towards the country and the victims... the country clearly will have to use inhumane methods to get information out of that terrorist to know if there is gonna be another attack or who all are behind him... the life of millions of people are at stake there...

The ones asking for cancellation are the biggest threat to democracy and freedom. The irony.
india cancelled a show called 'pehredar piya ke' 3-4 yrs ago which used to air on sony tv... it had extremely problematic content and for the first (and maybe last) time indian public stood against a problematic content on tv... should that show be not cancelled simply because india is a democratic country and the makers had freedom of speech and expression? it didnt even have anything to do with our history and was a complete fictional show...
going by your username i am assuming you are indian and as an indian you clearly know how pathetic and regressive our tv contents are and tv channels show it in the name of freedom of speech and expression.... isnt too much of freedom of speech also a thread to democracy? indian media will be the perfect example....
if a show is made on jallianwala bagh and they show that there was actual conspiracy happening inside the bagh which kind of indicates that gen.dyer was somewhat right, in the name of freedom of expression, do you expect indian audience to be fine with it and turn a blind eye to it? that is a serious distortion of history and disrespect towards 100s of people that got killed that day including women and children... it happened 102 yrs ago and still people wont turn a blind eye if there is any sort of distortion in that matter then how can we expect koreans to be fine with something that happened in 1987?

if an enemy enters a country and creates problems, that country cannot stay quite and be like 'i wont do anything…
i just gave it as an example since most people will know about it... USA should definitely stay out of most of the things but osama is the reason for 9/11 so they cannot stay out of it... what about isi? should the rest of the countries have kept quite while they created terror attacks around the world because of human rights violation? its not just black and white... for every country their citizen and their security is of utter most importance... we cannot say they shouldnt do this or that when it comes to their national security...

what if its not a suspected terrorist? should the US have not killed osama bin laden and let him go through trials and let his people create more problems due to his arrest?

I completely agree! I'm really sad and disappointed that there are people that are actually defending the plot…
how did i make the situation worst? i simply meant that just because someone is a professional lawyer doesnt mean much importance... he is simply giving the legal aspect of all this... he only said that legally nothing can be done against the channel or the show which is right but the makers can also not do anything against the people who signed the petition as well... they have also done what comes under their right...
fyi legally even joseon exorcist had the right to be onair but we all know what happened...

I think part of the reasons I'm struggling with the idea that the mere presence of a fictional North Korean spy…
if an enemy enters a country and creates problems, that country cannot stay quite and be like 'i wont do anything inhumane to that human being and let him just destroy my country because i believe in peace'.

professional lawyers also defend criminals, thieves, corrupt officers, gangsters etc... thats their job....
sk is a democratic country so the makers can make anything fictional in the name of freedom of speech and expression and it will be under the law, similarly the citizens of that country also have the freedom to form a petition and sign it... neither of the team did anything illegal or unlawful...
hurting the sentiments of public dont have to be illegal or unlawful...

does a court lady automatically becomes a concubine just because the king slept with them or should they be pregnant with his child?
if a court lady becomes a concubine by just sleeping with the king then if a king is a player then the palace will have more concubines than court ladies... lol

yi san lied to his mother that time the same way he lied he dont remember smiling when he is always smiling when…
as far as i know kings/crown princes dont intend to take court ladies as their concubines unless they have feelings for them or they get pregnant... so san never had any intention of taking a court lady until he completely realized his feelings for deokim...
the mother kind of understood that there was something going on b/w san and deokim and she wanted to show deokim her position... san without knowing deokim was there randomly said that his only aim is to be the king and wont marry someone from low class which might look like to deokim that he was just playing with her as a court lady...
san understood what his mother was doing and thats why he gave her the look after he saw deokim....

why dont you try the easy way and stop following the entertainment industry of that so called stupid nation...…
well, koreans are watching korean history being distorted on korean channel on a tv/platform they paid for and using their rights as a citizen to sign a petition on a topic that they feel offended... its none of our business to tell them what they should feel offended on and not...
just to know, are you fine with black face on kdramas and their misrepresentation of black people?

The comrade of soo ho who died before taking poison said long live democratic people republic of korea ie North…
since the drama already completed shooting , airs on a private channe and has an international streaming platform, it might be able to air more episodes giving the people a better picture and the backlash may decrease over time but the writers could have totally avoided portraying the ML as a north korean as it holds importance in the story as well as the history... they should have seen the backlash coming with that... atleast joseon exorist didnt see it coming...

If he didn't have feelings then definitely no king will think of taking a court lady( without any strong family background) as a concubine by himself... Commoners become concubine solely because they catches the interest of the king/crown prince... Kings get married either to have heirs or for political reasons and not for love... Even yi San's grandfather and great grandfather had commoner concubines solely because they were in love with those women... they all would have only had concubines from big families if they didn't had romantic feelings for court ladies... I guess the only other way court ladies become concubine is if they get pregnant with the king's child... Correct me if I am wrong...
