She did had inferiority complex since childhood but so young and hwa Jin were still friends in childhood... I guess those two didn't had much friends... I also disliked her from the start because in every drama I have seen the actress in she always plays this irritating character... Not necessarily a villain or a negative character but just this entitled brat kind of characters... But I liked her character development... She stopped herself before she looses it completely and that's worth appreciating.. She also said that both the king and her are no longer in love with each other which means she also isn't in love with him anymore.. they both just have mutual respect and affection for each other...
He is slow witted and don't get sarcasm or indirect talks... He is very straightforward and kind of innocent as well... But not rude or arrogant... Also when he tries to joke no one else gets it and the situation becomes awkward... He was trying to be funny when he didn't shake hands with the FL and did the bang thing...

Hwajin left the palace so that she won't end up hurting the king knowingly or unknowingly... As long as she is there, the jo clan will try to harm the queen and make her the queen even if she don't want it... Did you see the rating of the drama? It peaked at 17%... Just because there wasn't enough of the king doesn't mean it is bad writing... There was literally nothing bad in ep 18... They were clearly setting everything up for the grand finale... They didn't even waste a single scene unnecessarily in ep18...

The episode was well written... They just set the premises for the finale... The queen clearly made plans with the king's friends and hwajin... Everyone inside the palace is making sure that the king won't enter the palace alive... The queen is finally accepting her love for the king...

i like the way song ah made herself clear to hyun seung so that he dont have false hopes and he can move on... hyun seung is getting matured and sensible with each passing episode... he tries his best to make song ah not to feel uncomfortable around him... he also admits that he was a bit selfish when he revealed the truth... i like flawed characters as long as the makers dont cover up their flaws and let them grew as characters and i can see that happening with hyun seung...
the SML is completely screwed up in the head... any girl who choose to be with him will have a hard time as long as he dont fight his own demons... since hyo joo is equally screwed up these two are gonna be extremely toxic for themselves and even might be for others around them... song ah not even once blamed or had ill feelings for hyojoo after finding the truth but even just based on her own assumptions hyo joo was ready to throw a fit at song ah... why dont she question her soon to be husband? its good that hyun seung was there or else that crazy woman might have created a scene...
