i agree these things are something we see in real life but as a 3rd person we know this behaviors are unhealthy... the drama is not showing it as problematic behavior but just as a plot device and romanticizing these behaviors... they are showing it as intense love b/w these two... they basically showing that jaewon's love was so intense and passionate that he became an alcoholic instead of showing jaewon is not matured or strong enough to handle his emotions in a better way and ended up finding solace in alcohol...
some couples fight with each other physically and then get back together as if nothing happened... those couple call it intense and passionate love but thats toxic love...
here jaewon dont care how inconsiderate or selfish eunoh was in the relationship as long as she has feelings for him... eunoh for more than an year didnt care that jaewon was in a self destructive mode... these two can call it as love but as a 3rd person its problematic behavior...

i have only seen him in citt and my love from the stars... dont know much about him but i think when citt happened he was the biggest name from the cast... the drama was marketed in his name... i have only read that he is huge in china...

kjh definetly deserves way more appreciation and recognition... he is a wonderful actor... i think he is really appreciated in korea as i have seen knetz comment on mr.queen and everyone praises his acting and his dialogue delivery skills... also i think he is a graduate from a top university and koreans love actors that are from top universities...

i dont know much about park haejin but isnt he like a hallyu star and has a strong fan base in china? when i was reading about the citt controversy i heard that the makers sold the drama to china under his name and then then his scenes were cut off to promote the second lead...
kim jung hyun is pretty new and he is definitely critically acclaimed but he dont seems to have that much star power internationally... i think if he gets one more super hit like mr.queen he will gain more star power... he is a versatile actor for sure and i really like him but he didnt really blew up as of now... i dont get why he didnt blew up like kim seon ho...

i just checked and he is from cube... i dont think they are that powerful to influence the writer and director... it took so long for yook sung jae to be a lead and he is already a pretty famous idol... none of their actors are that big...

if i am not wrong park haejin is a much bigger star and its easier to piggy back on his fame and promote someone else...
but kjh isnt that big on starpower even though everyone appreciate him for his acting... they definitely cannot do what they did to phj here... also they have good enough reason to not show the king in today's episode... mr.queen mainly focuses on the story and the only character that gets more than enough screentime in every episode is the FL... everyone else comes and goes according to the story only... its the same for BI... right now he is needed for the story and its pretty obvious that they didnt squeeze in scenes just to show him like citt... so chill...

its definitely not going citt way... the drama only has 2 more episodes left and everyone is already anti-fans of the king and the queen... citt started being favorable to the second lead by the end of the first half itself... mr.queen dont give unnecessary footage to any characters...

i watched citt like 2 yrs after it aired and i was new to kdrama... i really liked the 1st half and when the focus was on the ML... he is screwed up in the head but he was an interesting character to watch, then suddenly the entire focus was on the crazy sister and piano brother and i lots interest in it but i still finished it... then i came to know what exactly happened behind the scene... its good that park hyejin atleast had the guts to speak up... i rarely see korean actors speaking up on how their characters get ruined by writers...

its the same for me... when a drama gets a good ending i feel satisfied with that drama and will be happy that they ended it well instead of dragging it...

i am currently active in mr.queen, lovestruck and runon( which ended 2-3 days back) but after all these ends i dont know what to watch...

dude, you should have definitely given mr.queen a try... thats like such a well written drama with great cast... the acting and comedy is top notch... it delivers exactly what the makers promised... instead of scratch the head thinking what the hell are these characters doing you will end up with a big smile when each episode ends....
even though its a sageuk they managed to give 17 episodes full of laughter... its only from today's episode that will get a bit intense but still there will be comedy...
run on and mr.queen are the best dramas right now...

mr.queen is more story driven and for the purpose of moving the story forward they cannot show the king too much today and ... BI might be annoying but he is moving the story forward... its nothing like ciit... that drama literally made the male lead an extended cameo in the second half... this is just one episode and that too for the story... its not like they are showing him sitting there and playing piano for 5 mins...

nope... iqiyi is like netflix... they post it on the same day within 1-2 hrs after korean broadcast with eng sub... the only problem is after 10 episodes we have to subscribe if its an ongoing drama... it becomes free after it finishes airing... but its still better than viki...
