I think it was... It's one of the rare cases where the actor spoke up against the production which rarely happens in korean entertainment industry... They cut down even the scenes he shot for... In the second half the male lead is rarely there... Instead of showing the ML they would randomly show the SML playing piano for 5-6mins...

But unlike startup the makers cutdown the role of the ML and gave his scenes to the SML... The actor and the original webtoon writer had some problem with the makers... They did the ML actor dirty... They sold the drama to other countries under his name and promoted the SML...

In kdramas messy hair is all they need to look unpresentable...

I have seen 3 LMH dramas and I never liked his chemistry with any of them... Even the kissing scenes look so forced... Except for having screen presence I don't see anything else in LMH... I don't get how this guy became so popular...
Even in goblin the chemistry was not that great... Grim reaper had way more chemistry with goblin... I guess she only looked good with the ML from cheese in the trap but that drama got ruined in the second half...

That's what bothers me... I can understand that she wasnt in a state to think properly an year back and made some rash decisions... But it's more than an year now and she even knows how the break up affected jaewon but she still only cares about herself... No matter how tragic her past was, I cannot root for them as a couple anymore... I cannot give a blind eye to the fact that jaewon basically became an alcoholic... The relationship is not good for him and he needs to realise that and have some sort of self respect... They both lack a huge amount of self respect...

Kdrama rom-coms rarely portray FLs as strong except for the last 2-3 yrs... Most of them are going after the ML shamelessly who is inconsiderate.. In lovestruck it looks like role reversal... i don't really like inconsiderate and selfish people regardless of the gender... One thing I never liked about kdrama rom-coms esp the early onces where how rude, selfish and inconsiderate the MLs used to be and how easily they get forgiven by the FL... I was always like the FLs can do so much better... In lovestruck i am like the ML can do so much better...

K2 had a good first half and great acting by everyone except yoona... If they didn't concentrate on yoona's character in the second half it would have been so much better... I liked JCW in K2 but his character growth became stagnant after he feel for anna out of the blue...
I was fine with backstreet rookie... It wasn't something amazing but it wasnt as bad as all the criticism it received... In lovestruck i am not liking the lead couple's story and how JCW's character is pinning over someone who isn't worth it...

Exactly.. jaewon needs to have some self respect and I hope those two don't end up together in lovestruck but I know kdramas will have a happy ending which is those two getting back together... The FL seriously don't deserve to be with him...

Read the synopsis and genre of a drama before watching it... If you do that then you would have an idea that backstreet rookie is anything but action... Atleast watch the teaser or trailer in Youtube before watching the drama... That will give you an idea about the drama and it's genre...
Try 365 repeat the year or flower of evil... Foe is a romantic thriller and 365 is a suspense fantasy thriller... Or watch hospital playlist which is a slice of life drama...

I hope so too...
I hope the makers don't hold back... We haven't gotten a proper kiss b/w the lead couple till now... Dont know when these two are gonna kiss...

I can imagine a hot kiss b/w danah and young hwa... There is too much sexual tension b/w these..

This one is way better than the Chinese drama and only has the outline story similar to the Chinese drama...

Poor guy is trying so hard with his planning plotting and threatening but nobody cares...

I never thought any of my favorite actor's drama will be in my worst drama list but this one proved me wrong... Even my love for JCW cannot make me like this drama... Another disappointment is that this is from the same makers as swdbs which is among my all time favourite dramas...
Till this I though JCW had the worst chemistry with yoona but this one surpassed it...

It's based on a real person so she ends up with the emperor r aka ji chang wook's character...
In the first half she is shown to be in love with the second lead but then she falls for the emperor in the second half...

Her foster parents...
She was in an orphanage and she got adopted by abusive parents... Then she went back to the orphanage and was adopted by her now father...

Memorist and stranger are suspense thrillers... Entirely different genre... suspense thrillers have strong characters regardless of the genre...
Kdramas are famous for dumb and pretty female leads... Also universally rom-coms have a very predictable storyline... if you watch back to back rom-coms all the dramas will look the same... Watch different genres...

In Suspicious Partner the ML never hated her... The guy literally sacrificed his entire career to save her even before he started falling for her and she didn't fall in love with him out of the blue...

Kdrama rom-coms have always been too much lovey dovey... that's the reason why most people get hooked to kdrama rom-coms... it has always been fluffy and cute...

The FL got trapped for murder by a powerful person and she was just a law student with an average family background... What is she supposed to do? She has helped solving cases and she is the least experiance one in the workplace... She is just a law school pass out with no proper experience... It's even said that she studied really hard to get into the law school... She isn't shown to be some super genius person... She is just an average person...

So true... She always win any argument and gets her way with people under her... She never thought he will lash out her like that...
Until the last scene the guy was head over heels for her... But thankfully he has good self respect as well...
