She was unlikable in swdbs, school 2017 and record of youth... She wasn't exactly a negative character in any of these but was unlikable in all of them...

They are trying to not give power to any of the clan... The king's gang don't really trust any side... They want the king to be powerful so that he can take decisions on his own without being pressurized by any clan... The brother was send back to the palace and there were no rumours about the closeness else they would have shown it... If the brother was being suspicious of the king's intentions they would have shown atleast an argument b/w them... As of now their plan to get confidential file was clean and the brother was convinced that the king is staying there to get the book which he was... I dropped this after watching two episodes. But yesterday, i had nothing to do so i thought of giving it another…
2 episode is not enough to get an idea about the show esp when it has a new format and unfamiliar way of story telling... Even for a kdrama with 1hr:20min duration we need to watch atleast 4-5 episodes to know where the drama is going... Glad that you decided to give it another try...

Except for not killing the queen without any reason the king haven't shown any kind of feelings for the queen in front of the brother...the brother haven't witnessed any of their bonding like the cousin or hwajin has witnessed... The brother is basically putting the king in danger by taking the book and still letting the king search for it... Hiding the king's real Identity is of uttermost importance for him and his gang...
The book that hwajin has is not the ledger,it is the book which queen used to read in childhood.
The book hwajin was holding had confidential written on it and the ledger also has confidential written on it... The book so yung used to read seems to be just a literature book or something...
