Same here... I always give a try to everything my favorites are in but if it's not my cup of tea I will drop it but I won't go around questioning their choices and say that actor should be doing a particular kind of dramas and is only good at that...

This is the same reason why I left watching American series... i used to follow a couple of American series when it was onair and i had to wait so much for the next episode...

Second last episode or the one before that...

almost all the big actors move away from big agencies and work with agencies where they are the biggest ones... jcw seems to get the kind of freedom he wants in his agency... i guess he has been the with same agency from the start and its literally a one man agency...
action dramas are physically straining and even more than movies... k2 had an action scene in almost all episodes... his so called fan girls should see him as a human and not as an eye candy...
he clearly cannot guarantee the success of a drama... even the king eternal monarch with such big names didnt do well... jcw is atleast constantly trying to push himself and genuinely wants to increase his acting range...

i am also done with someone or the other coming and saying jcw should stick to a particular genre... its as if he has the power to predict how a drama does...
if he is no more doing the kind of dramas they want him to be in, drop him and move on... why diss his choices and his dramas every single time... esp when he has made it clear what he wants to do with his career...

the ones thats trying to bring down jcw shows seems to be his own ex-fans that want him to do the kind of roles they want him to be in...
kim yoo jung also got a lot of hate... i have seen some extremely nasty comments about her on some sites... its pretty sad to see women commenting like that for another woman...

and she took his 3 cameras as well... atleast give back him his cameras...

he dont know that the queen has done literally nothing... he thought she over heard them and will tell her clan and expose him... he dont have any reasons to trust her either... he realized his mistake and misjudgment and now is trying to repay her...
his interest is to save the people of his country from the clutches of the kim clan... his interests are not selfish...

she tried to commit suicide because of the king not loving her as well as the lose of freedom and being controlled by the kim clan...
from whatever is shown till now, the real queen was kind of innocent and pure and didnt had anything to do with the planning and plotting...

about the atrocities of the kim clan, i think its explained pretty well in ep 7 or 8... they are extremely corrupt and the poor people has to pay high taxes just to fill the greed of the kim clan... the biggest player is the cousin's father... even the queen's father is extremely corrupt...
they killed the previous king because he started to act on his own and tried to put an end to the extreme power of the kim clan...

if you have any doubt regarding the palace politics feel free to ask... i will tell you as much as i know...

it also depends on how influential the agencies these actors are in... jcw dont belong to any top agencies... he had 2 or 3 high rated dramas to his name before empress ki and healer but he was never noticed till empress ki... his agency might not have been that big to get him endorsements and other stuff before he blew up...

joo ju hoon getting an award might be one of those rare cases...
i remember reading yoo ah in boycotting some award functions due to the practice of giving award only to people who attends it...

the FL is a bit weird at first but her weirdness grows on you...
she is weird enough to use the shoes the killer gifted her and i found that hilarious... she is also shameless and she openly admits it...

as long as she is jus sharing the flat with kang gun its fine... just hope she dont have any other relation with him... kang gun also said in one episode that he is friends with eunoh and rinyi... they havent showed any kind of romantic feelings for each other...
but yes, as of now, eunoh is extremely selfish when it comes to jaewon...

his character growth in k2 became stagnant in the first half itself and all he did in the drama after a point was save the damsel in distress and look freaking hot in every single shot... his character in BR had better character growth and had more to do as an actor... ( i am talking about his characters in both the shows and not the entire drama)... also k2 is among the dramas he wasnt satisfied on how it turned out to be... he himself dont consider that drama to be one of his best works...
you are free to avoiding or drop his drama but respect his choices and move on... he isnt going to do the dramas some of his fangirls want him in and he is going in a different direct... he is making that pretty clear and is very vocal about it as well... in short he dont really care if he looses some fangirls in the process of experimenting with his work... he is working on himself to be a better actor and not to be a better star...
if you are his fangirl then his mental and physical health might be important to you... the guy has multiple times in his ivs said that action dramas took a strain on his health and he is not ready to go to that extreme length anymore...

as an actor empress ki is his best role and you dont seem to like that...

its easier to drop him and move on instead of dissing his works that isnt according to your or your gf's taste... he isnt gonna be the jcw you want him to be...

there is nothing wrong with his acting in lovestruck and in BR if we talk about his acting and character... on paper both BR and lovestruck are good... lovestruck is presenting what the makers promoted and it was always promoted as a realistic take on relationships b/w city people and thats what they have been showing for 5 episodes... its a webseries and is shot in a different format...
an actor cannot guarantee the success of a project... no one chooses a project with 100% guaranteed success... jcw didnt do healer thinking he is going to be a hallyu star with that project... he didnt choose melting me softly thinking its going to flop...

so true... i dont get why everyone is soo into the rating of ongoing dramas...
the ratings always keep fluctuating for ongoing dramas... it will settle only after the drama ends...

for a 3rd person the relationship didnt seem that deep but it was meabingful and deep for jaewon... the audience as well as the other 4 leads feel he is being too much but he dont see the relationship as a summer fling...

its him to decide whether he is evolving or not...
