true... even though the king was using the kiss to distract the cousin, he was way too into it... the way he was holding her and the way she was standing were hilarious...
Unpopular opinion: I actually like the cousin way more than the king. He loved her enough that he accepted it…
the king had his entire family killed in front of his eyes and now is forced to be a puppet in the hands of the kim clan lead by the cousin's father... even the queen's misery has everything to do with his father but he is conveniently hating on the king and showing attitude towards the king just because he can... the queen is also used like a puppet by his own father and he is doing nothing about it...
honesty, i don't really like KSH char in this drama. he is supposed to be the 2nd lead but KJY char is more interesting…
i dont quite remember his overall screentime... i think he didnt had much screentime in the initial episodes... his character is good and i liked him in it... i guess he only liked the FLs in startup and this one( to a level even in two cops)... he had his own pairing in chief kim, strongest deliveryman, you drive me crazy, waikiki2 and catch the ghost...
A lot of stars launched their career off ONE role in a movie/drama. So I am expecting the same things from him.He…
i guess in 2016 gong yoo also had 3 movies and goblin... but we dont know when those movies were shot... some of those movies might have been shot an year before its release... ya you are right... when i checked out other hallyu stars none of them works as hectic as jcw... he is back from the military just one and a half yrs ago and already shot 3 dramas and a movie... kim soo hyun came back around the same time and only did one drama and 2 cameos and still havent decided his next project... i agree, most of the hallyu stars made it big in their mid-20s... kim seon ho started his career in dramas at 31... he already passed the age where he can do those heart fluttering cheesy romcoms... he should choose his next drama wisely and that drama should be both critically and commercially successful... else it will be hard for him to maintain his popularity...
as you saw it, can you tell me what's the ending in the chinese one?
i dropped it after watching almost 3/4th of it... didnt go till the end... i lost interest after the FL fell in love... most of the comedy scenes that i liked was when she was acting as a guy... apart from some comdey scenes the chinese one didnt make any sense... it was heavily edited to start with and then it had very low production quality and very bad acting( except the FL. she was really good)
So yong's soul I am beginning to think is not coming back. She has not made her presence known since BH possessed…
The makers said that from ep 7 onwards the 2 sould will merge... Say's soul is inside and thats why BH can remember what happened in the past and SH's soul is the one that is getting starry eyed whenever she sees the king...
in the chinese version the king and the queen sleeps together when they were at her house and she was drunk... i hope that dont happen here as she is unconscious....
the king is so into the kiss and bong hwan/so yong is trying to process whats happening... the best part of the kiss is the cousin seeing it... he irritates me and i am happy he saw it...
The scene when the King was in the room with the Queen's cousin, definitely gave me chills. He made me sit back…
that scene was well done... the king showed the cousin his place... the cousin couldnt say anything when the king said her happiness and her misery are his to look after and she is his queen and not byung in's cousin... the cousin almost had tears in his eyes... lol
Too bad now he had to reveal his underlying power and authority to someone who doesn't like him that much, and…
i think vegetative state and being in coma are different... i am not sure about it but i have seen in a movie that a person in vegetative state has some consciousness and can open their eyes but cannot move or talk whereas the person in a coma have no consciousness at all...
the king's friend and the queen's brother seems to have their own thing going on... i loved the king's friend in ROY and he was the only fun part of that drama... poor queen's maid... she has been eyeing him and he is eyeing the guy who is eyeing her...
A lot of stars launched their career off ONE role in a movie/drama. So I am expecting the same things from him.He…
i read somewhere that jcw did theater, a movie and chinese dramas and all in 2015-16 time... before the covid hit, kdramas used to be done within 4 months... its hectic but if his agency manages properly he can do movies/dramas and his variety show together... but he should do only one kdrama an year else it will be too much for him...
honesty, i don't really like KSH char in this drama. he is supposed to be the 2nd lead but KJY char is more interesting…
if you watch this drama solely for ksh then you will be disappointed... he dont have a separate storyline... from the second half onwards he has bromance going on with the ML... he likes the FL but there isnt exactly any love triangle as such... he likes her, he tells her, she turns him down and the end... she isnt dalmi to drag it on... lol
I think KJH is not getting the credit he deserves. SHS's character obviously is more appealing and fun to watch, but…
I was more familiar with kjh than shs when I started watching this drama and the interesting trailer and kjh were the main reason why I gave this one a try...
but a lot of kdrama ost sound the same because most of them are melodies...
the bong hwan song is unique and catchy...
i guess he only liked the FLs in startup and this one( to a level even in two cops)... he had his own pairing in chief kim, strongest deliveryman, you drive me crazy, waikiki2 and catch the ghost...
