And dalmi's growth went backward.. she had a better personality at the starting

Dalmi dont have a reaction to lot of things...
She completely forgot about the letter which was a huge part of her life
She didn't give any thought about hjp and dosan fighting it out...
She completely forgot the confession and behaves with hjp the same way she did before the truth got revealed...
Didn't even think of grandma when she thought she got a job in SF...
Didn't though of telling her mentor before or after signing the contract...

The makers sabotaged her character just to move the story forward or to give relevance to dosan...

I have watched 3 dramas of NJH and it was one of the reasons I was hesitating to watch this one but thankfully he improved a lot... I still remember his stoic face in bride of habeak... I used to watch it when it was ongoing... I heard he did a good job in his last drama and it seems to be a female oriented drama... I guess as of now he should do dramas where the main focus is not on the male lead and also dramas with no second male lead...

If you like dosan then daehyun from backstreet rookie was a way better character than dosan... I not even for once though puppy is better for saetbyul... Daehyun was literally the living Buddha and he was consistent with his behaviour throughout the drama...

KSH seems to be a bit reserved and shy.. may be he is more comfortable with people of his age...in Korea age is like a big thing...

I think like kim seon ho he also started acting in dramas and movies pretty late...

i guess thats why they didnt give credit to the chinese drama... they might show its an adaption of the book in the credits when the drama starts...
i wish this one is on netflix... i am having a hard time with tale of gumiho not being on netflix...

maybe that cdrama is an adaptation of a webtoon or anime... i am not sure.. i am just guessing...
when kdramas remake japanese dramas they clearly mention it in the articles like 365 and the smile has left your face...

NJH's acting is just okay... i have seen him as a lead in weightlifting fairy, school 2015, and bride of habaek and compared to those three he improved a lot but he still cannot carry a drama on his own and he gets heavily overshadowed by a better actor... he should stay far away from dramas with second male leads....
suzy is good when she has to emote through dialogues but when it comes to conveying something through subtle expressions she feels flat... like its hard to understand what dalmi feels when she looks at someone... she just blankly looks at that person without any emotion in her face...

one of the reasons why i dont feel much about the drama is how most characters dont have a sold characterization.. saha and dalmi often acts out of character and injae is like an extended cameo... now i feel like puppy from backstreet rookie who was a cameo had more screentime than injae who is promoted as a main lead...

whether dalmi ends up with HJP or not the drama is strictly a 7.5 for me story-wise... the overall storyline is just above average... started off well but went down from ep 5-6 which means the show didnt even maintained the standard for the first half itself... most shows get draggy or loses its plot around ep 10 or 11 but this one started diverting from the genre even before finishing first half...
if they ruin HJP's character just to show dosan is a better choice then i will rate it a 5 or 6...

acting wise also except for kim seon ho and grandmother, everyone else is just okay.. neither bad nor good... they all do justice to their characters but none of them has outstanding performances...

i noticed that he dont follow nam joo hyuk on insta... he even follows stephanie and kang hana even though he dont have proper scenes with them...
also he rarely posts pic with his drama costars... he posted pics with only suzy and moon ga young out of his drama costars...

i ended up watching startup to fill the void of this drama...
this one could have been way more popular than startup if this aired on netflix...
this one stays true to its genre...

Keep hjp out of the picture and just look at dosan-dalmi relationhsip...The guy got obsessed with dalmi at first sight and made his entire life revolve around her... This is a youth motivational drama and the ML says his dream is a girl he met just few months ago... After meeting her his entire actions involved dalmi...Also it's still not clear why dalmi has feelings for dosan and the entire relationhsip comes off as shallow... she likes him because he is good looking and does literally everything she asks for...She kissed him after he got violent in someone's office... That's a red flag right there... She just encouraged his violent act... If she haven't recorded everything they could have been in big trouble...Dosan never gives dalmi space and never let her grow as an individual professionally... He never let s her fight her own battle... He even gets involved when she has an argument with her own sister... He literally pokes his face in every little matter of her life... dalni dumbed a guy just because he didn't ask her before booking tickets for a movie and she is now fine with a guy who gets himself involved in every single matter of hers...

The entire relationship screams unhealthy...

He wasn't a compulsive lies... He cannot meet eye to eye with dalmi when he has to lie and tries to avoid being with her as much as possible in the initial episodes... He started talking to her properly only after he decides to mentor her... Compulsive lies come up with lies without any hesitation...

Grandma is basically the only person he can release his frustration on and she will understand him... they have a different dynamo... He yells at her in frustration the same way children do to their parents and it don't come under mistreating... He never had any sort of ill intentions or dislike towards grandma...

Njh has a lot of fans and it's obvious he will win but there is only 5% different b/w them... Korean fans are famous for mass voting for their favourite...
Kim seonho might have played lead roles but not in any successful dramas... Even though he is started to get noticed he don't have such a big dedicated fan following like njh...

The fact that he revealed grandma's truth to dalmi and HJP when he needs it shows that...

The fact that when Saha told him that HJP tried to stop the contract signing dosan got worried shows he clearly knows if HJP says there is something wrong then there is something wrong... He didn't agree with Saha when she told hjp might have did that to stop dalmi from going to the US with dosan... So he knows that HJP is right but he was just not ready to accept that...

Both has flaws but the difference is ones hjp's flaws are pointed out he tried to reflect on it... He understood that he has been rude to others and immediately felt guilty of it whereas dosan was not ready to accept that he screwed up and released his anger on hjp for pointing it out... Dosan and his friends don't really own up to his mistakes... Even now yongsan is blaming HJP eventhough he is the main reason why HJP couldn't stop them from singing the contract...

Dosa definitely wanted to be successful... He and his friends has been trying to make it for 2yrs... The problem was all the 3 had no idea of how to run a business and only had big dreams of being successful...
