Caution:if you are BWS die-hard fan kindly skip on this one. I have stated an opinion based on my reasonable and…
For heavy action dramas, a star with strong screen presence is needed than an actor with strong emotional depth. bws has that type of screen presence and actors do have to train a lot for action scenes. its not fully cgi. they have to work on the choreography and with no proper security it can be dangerous as well. its not something that can be brushed aside. Bws might not be some extra ordinary actor but he isnt expressionless either. he has enough acting skills to not be bad in an action fantasy. his screen presence and character were the only good thing about strong girl namsoo. not all good looking guys with good physique will have good screen presence. In LR he might not have had the kind of emotionally charged scenes like KHY but he was cast perfectly. he managed to look good as a highschooler, college student and a 30+ actor. its a well written character but one cannot find any fault in his performance either. an actor with better acting skills could have done the emotional scenes better but would they be able to look like the character? he did manage to bring out the innocence of a highschooler in love and had the rizz as a 33 yr old popular actor. if he didnt had decent enough acting skills no matter how good the director or writing is, the character wouldnt have been popular. sunjae is not the first love sick fully devoted kdrama male lead. but he is among the few who ended up being a sensation.
seems like its a 13-14 yr old kid. if those flashback scene is his actual age then that spirit being attracted to seonga and trying to kiss her was pretty awkward.
i genuinely felt bad for pyo ji ho the entire episode. seonga could have explained things to him. he is such a selfless friend till now and he has been getting beaten up by the evil menace. seonga didnt even bat an eye when he got punched twice.
“Zero Intelligence”? Please re-check these scenes:1. Who discovered the identity of the hit-and-run suspect—the…
Everyone is finding something or the other and dong ju did had the advantage of already getting a glimpse of the hit and run guy as he was there at the spot. He just screams out everything he thinks and wants to do to the villain himself. Infront of the villain he dont come off as a strong character. The only likablity is that the character is played by park bo gum who is fresh from wlgyt.
I do have my set of genres which i enjoy and dont enjoy. The first few episodes reminded me of the movie extreme job which is among my fav kmovies and also has a similar premise. So the genre of this drama definitely is my taste. I like action comedies and this drama does have some good action and comedy but overall the characters are not appealing to me esp the leads.
This drama made me loose interest in it way too fast. 5 mins into ep 5 and i am done with dong ju. He has zero intelligence and is annoying to the level that i want the villain to win. I am actually rooting for the villain. Dong ju is like a rabies dog who just barks without any cause. He is embarrrising at times the way he acts. Ju yeong is calm, collective and clever making him a way more interesting character.
I dont know why this one even needs a love story. Its very boring and the leads barely have any chemistry. Just keep jong hyeon out of this triangle. Hana is such a plain and boring character. The makers tried hard to make her a badass but she is intresting only when she has a gun in her hand.
I like the other three characters in the team but they arent good enough to keep the entire drama interesting. They barely have anything else to do other than handle dong ju's erractic behaviour. The chief and jae hong are like baby sitters who are always stressed thinking what will dong ju do next.
For a moment there I forgot his first love wasnt the fl (on ep 4)The female lead has been kinda unlikeable so…
She was his first love. He just had a crush on that other girl. He forgot all about her as soon as he went on a blind date with the fl and when he goes back he kept wondering why he stopped pursuing her.
SP in netflix dont show some of the end credit scenes which was aired when the drama was on going. there is a…
No. He just keep her guessing and to get back at him she does something similar and keep him guessing. I think she eventually understood nothing happened.
i think its cuz she's the only one who actually "apparently" understood the prince....
People at that time went to a brothel preplanned. He isnt the type to go to places like that. Its just a one night stand. Something that just happened at the heat of the moment. He slept with her because he was attracted to her and started having feelings. There are more than enough korean movies and dramas which have shown aristocratic men and women sleeping around before marriage. Simply because they had a strict principle back then doesnt mean every single person followed it and nobody ever had pre marital sex. This is a fantasy romcom. They can have the liberty to show a one night stand.
i think its cuz she's the only one who actually "apparently" understood the prince....
A young lonely guy finds a girl attractive and she spoke like she knows him like no other, then throws herself at him. It makes total sense if they both get horny af. Simply because he is an upright guy in general doesnt mean he cannot loose himself occasionally. So its not completely illogical or senseless.
I think the ML is holding one over on the FL like in Suspicious Partner. Did Ji Chang Wook’s character ever…
SP in netflix dont show some of the end credit scenes which was aired when the drama was on going. there is a scene of her falling asleep after trying to kiss him. so nothing happened.
i think its cuz she's the only one who actually "apparently" understood the prince....
them sleeping together on their first meet is the crux of the story and the drama's name itself is first night with the duke. so let them have creative liberty.
Is it just me or da jeong borrows her daughter's clothes? It dont look age appropriate in the initial episodes.
