It gets you hooked by the end of ep 2 if you are into rom coms. It definitely has one of the strongest first two episodes for a kdrama. The re-watch value for the first 6 episodes are also high.

Why are you comparing two entirely different dramas with different genres? Qot is a high budget drama with big names and very high rating. LR is a weekday drama with relatively new names and moderate budget. Qot is on the heavier side and LR is more light hearted.

The story is definitely not weak for a light hearted rom com. The characters are interesting and it's directed pretty well. Acting, directing, writing and dialogues have been done pretty well till 6 episodes and audiences are only getting more and more involved with the drama than getting bored. Going by the overhyped rom coms like king the land, this one is miles ahead in all departments.

In our defence, he started acting well now only and this is his first lead role. He got a lot of attention for strong girl nam soo.

Like yoona or Suzy. They literally look like sleep walking through their roles and are such bland actors.

Sunjae has always been in love with her regardless of her age. Before the time slip also sunjae describes Sol as his first love. She was his first love and he recognised her before time slip as well even though she didn't knew about him. So sunjae isn't only in love with the 34 yr old Sol. He has been in love with the 19 yr old Sol when he was 19 and 34 yr old Sol when he was 34 and after the timeslip in love with 34 yr old Sol in 19yr old's body.

Qot is a bigger drama with top cast and writer and airs on weekend. So obviously it will grab more eye balls and rating. I think it Korea both male and female audiences watche dramas. As far as I have seen for a weekday drama with lesser known actors, lovely runner is doing really well. It's actually no 1 in tving site with qot being no 2. Rating wise also TVN is leading on mon Tue slot with LR.

The banter between ts and Sol is like of an older woman showing the right path to an aimless guy and there is nothing attractive about it. Also taesung treated young Sol like she don't exist and he is attracted to the motherly vibe the older Sol gives him since he has mummy issues. That's weird af. It's good that Sol is oblivious to sunjae's feelings as she don't see him as a teenage boy but as the idol she has been worshipping for 15 yrs. She don't think he will fall for someone like her. Also sunjae loved her whether she is her immature 19 yr old self or the 34 yr old who takes care of him. He loves her in all forms and that's why taesung don't stand a chance in front of him.

Cdramas simply have bigger budget and that's it. There might be one or two cdramas that are good but overall its cringefest with bad acting and bad dubbing and unbearable filters.

Don't waste your time. The drama is unbearable. His character ain't all that either. It's just that he is hot and the rest of the characters were down right bad so he stood out.

Him as a nice guy is way better.
He stood out in strong woman simply because the rest of the characters were unbearable and his character was the only bearable and interesting thing about the entire drama and he is hot.

For her he is just a random high school guy and sunjae is someone greater and bigger. She cares for him and her main aim is to keep him safe. She cares about her impression on sunjae whereas she gives two hoots about what taesung thinks about her.
Even then teenage sunjae>>>>> taesung.

Neither wooseok nor hyeyoon has the kind of fan following to rate this drama this high. The chemistry is not forced at all.
