i watched the first 4 episodes of this and I am honestly confused by everyone saying it's a bad show. it's one of the best I've seen all year honestly. I think more people should give this a try with an open mind.

I assume she associates the toys with her sons death
it's a pretty lame excuse imo, like her son could have died doing anything else or going anywhere else, you know? the kid didn't actually kill him.. this trope of blaming the kid for their parents' death is so boring and i hope kdrama writers stop with this shit.

Because she’s an awful, selfish human who is wallowing in her own grief to care about others around her.

Title Hidden Love Spoiler
Main character is 17 but acts like she’s 8. A lot of the “cute scenes” are just straight up not interesting…
the main girl starts liking the guy when he does these little things for her, in her eyes the things that the do she considers them romantic. but it's literally just her embarrassing her self in front of him. for example the period scene. first of all the scene was so unnecessary? second of all he's literally doing the bare minimum, like not making fun of her for getting her period. etc etc

i am sure there was a better way for them to do that.

I am definitely not the target audience for this
Main character is 17 but acts like she’s 8. A lot of the “cute scenes” are just straight up not interesting or romantic in any way. When main girl is 14 she looks she is 8, like c’mon. Pretty disappointed in this drama that’s rated so high. Maybe c-dramas are not for me

when will we stop seeing stupid plot lines about a female character not getting enough food (idiotically) only for her to end up collapsing it's so tired

Suicide is the biggest sin in the afterlife in not only Korean culture but also many religions around the world…
that's a really good way of putting it.

yeah suicide is a big no-no in many cultures but in that case shouldn't she have forgotten him? since she did it for him? also yes she did do everything she could to keep him alive and even forced him to remember her but why is she still haunting him? i have so many questions

Because that mother was his daughter. She used the candies to let him know that it was her, and that he'd broken…
yes i understood that, but last time this rule was broken he ended up being the shop keeper because he traded places with the previous shop keeper, but about this time? what did he trade? it seemed to me that the reason why people need to use their own will to find their light is to help them make the choice they truly want: should they return or stay in this world. That's why they need to do it on their own and that's why when people interfere in this process there's usually a trade. so that's why i am asking did he really do it for no reason simply because he wanted her to help her daughter (aka his granddaughter)? if so are there any consequences to this?

the first one is exactly the reason
oh i see that makes sense and it makes their story even more of a tragedy

do you think maybe hyunmin forgot her because she committed suicide? i wonder why he forgot her even after he woke up? also when the shop keeper gave his daughter the light so she can take it to her daughter, did he just do it for free or did he ask for something in exchange? so many questions with no answers :(

can someone explain what the ghost girl wanted from hyunju? was she really just trying to be her friend or was something else going on here?

this director is super talented i think they should try their hand in horror/fantasy/thriller. there were lots of such beautifully executed shots in this drama
