Oh, what utter nonsense. If Dan had just put a bullet in Patrick's head at the end of the series, it would have all been over—but the idiot couldn't even manage that. At first, I felt sorry for Jane, being with a guy like that, but life gave her so many chances to leave; yet, she just clung like a leech to that sadistic maniac. Apparently, she was "in love." I realized that the more sadistic one partner is, the more masochistic the other is. I didn't feel sorry for a single person in this story. They’re all complete maniacs, every last one of them.
