Ep1 Uhh maybe ask what will be the price to pay before biting into that -_- Come on she just found out magic is real and she's going along with this -_- Did she forget that she got duped for not reading the fine print -_-
Ep3 I wish they could have gone more in dept in the ingredients and how they were prepared. What was given is very lazy, like that mandrake plant, anybody who have seen Harry Potter would know about mandrakes.
Ep4 I'm a bit reminded of charmed 1998-2006. A good thing perhaps.
Ep5 Not too happy with the direction of ep5. The student mentor theme is fun but it's something we've seen before. Then there is the love interest. I think he is way too vanilla, which means he'll be the bad guy
Do they get those potions at the witch supermarket -_-
FL becomes confortable doing bad things for people
Hugging someone from behind when you're sick... Yeah that makes sense -_-
Lol You know you're a typical male lead when your line is 'you deserve someone better'
The witch's diner is basically the same as a place that takes your organs for cash
Ep6 Writer convinces female lead that the actions of the witch aren't bad
Boyfriend having another lover was obvious, at the very least, the writers didn't wait to reveale it
Ep7 FL didn't google the boyfreind who is a famous writer and found out he had a wife and a baby on the way -_-
FL's friend didn't tell her either
I knew that the boyfriend was a setup for something but I didn't think it would be this predictable
That punch was so not satisfying btw
Ep8 oh wow... the witch is FL's biological mother... omg who would have thought -_-
if it wasn't for writing like this, I couldn't appreciate JK Rowling's writing in Harry Potter
oh boi now female lead can sell organs too >.>
writer writing herself in the story is so tacky >.>
Maybe it's because i'm the adventure type that I wished it was a little more exciting 7/10
This has a lower rating than the stuff I am used to and with episode 1 I can see why. The writing is very straightforward, very rudimentary. Kinda makes it boring and predictable to a point. If it wasn't for the themes, i'd be dropping it.
Just finished watching. Very good for the first watch.
The first time, I stopped watching at episode 16. These are my thoughts for the second time: Honestly, the story felt very dragged and had a few plot conveniences here and there. And it got annoying when a lot of the conflict could have been solved by asking the person directly or could have been avoided with a lock on the door. In the last quarter, I started to not care anymore, but I enjoyed the last episode. I totally get why some people hate period dramas. The villains overstayed their welcome... They stayed so long, I stopped caring. I feel like they brought in less capable writers at episode 16 or 17 to finish off the show. There is only so much you can make passive aggression interesting.
I wanted to know more about Jang Bong Hwan, it's a shame. It should have been 18 episodes long, there is much stuff you can skip
7.9/10
[SPOILERS] I hated how much of a liability the protagonist became. After boasting of his knife skills, it was a big letdown. Also, found it confusing that he made the bow his weapon. I started to care less about the characters when I reached ep 19. I didn't care for the cousin in the show. Didn't like or dislike him, he just felt like an annoyance. Maybe I just dislike people who are all talk. Then protag crumples up an important document that would have given him safety, which the cousin sacrificed himself for...
Kinda disappointed with the ending but overall, the drama is okay. The group used some dumb tactics and died needlessly. There was good tension between the ML and FL. ML was carrying the show for a while so now I don't really care for a season 2.
I don't think you have to be a mother to feel the urge to protect children.
I would agree with you if the time between meeting and in possession of the child wasn't so close. I think it would make sense if there was some backstory where she lost her child or something.
trauma 😭 what drama were you watching? we call her that now, huh? bitch LMAOYS acting all vulnerable and emotional…
Don't make assumptions about others. Your personal experiences are not enough to make them. A fictional character got some criticism, that doesn't mean you need to simp
Someone who hits people with a broom and positions themself so that another gets hit by a volleyball has a "strong personality". Hilarious. That's not what strength is

The pacing is not slow at least
Giving witch's diner a looksy first

Disappointed with the title too

Though I am here for the male lead, I don't wish to see willy wonkas on screen
