[ep1] I think my tolerance for boring has dropped.. It took 35 seconds for someone to walk to his office and call somebody in.. seriously the pacing is so dammed slow
OMG does it take 20+ minutes to show the audience what the main character's personality is?? some of that time should have been used for the FL, cause we needed some exposition
Oh hello plot convenience Just to clear up, your personality doesn't suddenly change, when you have amnesia
[ep2] The mc is a deluded idiot. Is this what comedy has come to
[ep3] the massive ego that the mc never had... Would be more believable if something supernatural made him a psychopath ... I wonder if people with psychopathic tendencies will choose to be born with them again The writer should have chosen who to given the comic relief, and not insert it all over the place Didn't all the men serve in the army o.o I might have to go to a hospital for the whiplash
[ep4] This writing is so tasteless. Imagine if the mc tried to convince himself that he was the opposite gender. I can already see the backlash lol So unfortunate, I was hoping for the two to be making complex art together They make it painfully obvious that it is more than one writer The mc would have been a great anti hero
[ep5] If there is a twist in the writing with the FL's father, I'd be truly impressed. Sometimes I wonder why the uncle isn't investigating the case, instead, the FL has to be carried every step of the way. ML and FL are like two kids playing pretend, one a detective and another a murderer I am not sure how the officers connected Attempt 1 to Attempt 2 but ok whatever I will admit the cliffhangers are good
I wonder how hard is the investigation examination. I should take it one of these days
[ep6] I am laughing. Laughing on the inside. At how dumb this is lol This might be the dumb and dumber episode LMAO wtf was that spin Am I really about to watch this plot play out? The mystery has already died On hold or Dropped idk yet
Do you know what disgusts me the most? People spitting People conveniently surviving that 50+ meters tsunami >.> They should have just led with the tsunami...
Too many characters. The story is meh, no bird. A lot of the acting is over-exaggerated, too much unnecessary melodrama, and some parts were just boring
A few chuckles and heartwarming scenes along the way. Just few though
At the end, you'd be like, whatever. It does not have any impact on your life
I think it at least deserves a 6/10 though. It is watchable and pretty easy to follow along. Can't tell you what happens 4 months later though
lazy writing? lol the world building here was so good. what are you saying? and some dialogues were really philosophical.…
Yup lazy writing. Especially in the first couple of episodes with the tropes. There were scenes where the writing should have been pushed
World-building? I don't know what extravagant world-building you speak of, but this show did not have that
Just because you didn't see anything unique out there, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There's a reason why this drama wasn't overrated with a 9.2/10 with the other overrated dramas. Sure you can make the argument that nothing is original anymore, but then you can also argue, that a motorcycle is no different from a car, even though they give you completely different experiences.
"Well executed" meh... Wouldn't use those words. You can dump sugar on a stale doughnut... The doughnut will still be stale
It's not thrilling if you know what will happen... It doesn't fall under a thriller tag anyway. What I do expect is more of a mystery
I believe the drama can reach an 8.2/10 depending on the ending but right now, it's more like a 7.6/10. The writing improved over the episodes and I guess we'll see if it continues
[ep1] So predictable dam How can there be so many cliches in just the first episode? There's nobody to carry this drama, so sad Lazy writing
There's nothing majorly bad about this drama, just that it is so very average. I don't think you need to turn off your brain, but you might as well do so.
[ep2] omg this predictable piece of shit... After the first episode, I still was hopeful... Well F me "Pain must be shared" -that was actually kinda funny
[ep3] Hard to hate this show when it is so anti bully lol
[ep5] I think if you reach this far, you will warm up to the series. I think I am enjoying, but well, no brain power needed
[ep6] I take back everything I said XD only because the kid said, what he said, to his grandfather
[ep1] Just saw the first episode. It is interesting, really interesting, the rooted concept isn't unique but it really captured my attention. There was a plot hole ready to be left unfilled, so pleasantly surprised that it got filled
First J drama (not sure if this is a drama or not)
[ep3] I think we all knew who was going to survive but I am actually impressed with the writing. Not for the person that survived but for one of the people that didn't.
[final thoughts] o.o Wait is she a trans?... I didn't expect that. I doubt it, but anybody knows if she is a trans IRL?
The pacing is really good. 1.25x speed. Especially great if you had seen post-apocalyptic films. I think the acting could have been better but it is still pretty good. The story was well written, it didn't have a dull moment. There are some common tropes but they are necessary for the story plot. Some characters still needed to be fleshed out more and that's why I am eager to watch season 2 (whenever that comes out). The music is pretty good, nothing that stands out though.
Why do you keeps on hating, please keep your thoughts to yourself. Your comments doesn't really help and you're…
If the drama is bad and had a suitable rating, people won't be hating. If the drama is good but had a bad rating, people won't be hating. This is none of those
I don't see how constructive criticism will help, since criticism is only accepted if the recipient is willing. Go to a hospital if you want to be helped. Don't tell people to keep their thoughts to themselves.
the plot just hasn't kicked in or are you too slow to understand what's happening?
so many comments, I am so confused lol
WRONG XD a plot is "a plan made in secret by a group of people to do something illegal or harmful"
I don't really see the undead stuff as part of the main plot. So I assume when you say plot, you are talking about the main one. There are multiple plots going on right. As I see it, the main plot is '1997'
Well, the drama would revolve around that... not with the undead in the DMZ
hmm just to clarify I don't think the writing for Search in general, is bad. The majority is good... Hence I am still watching lol. Although, all the judgement I made is just conjecture, cause it's not done airing yet.
It is overrated and it has some bad writing. Hope we can at least agree there.
the plot just hasn't kicked in or are you too slow to understand what's happening?
hmmm the plot progression atm, is fine, also the minor plot device is gone too. The baby in question is predictable but am curious about how it plays out
But you can't really say that for episodes 2 and 3. I disagree with you there. There was a lot of setup and exposition and introduction of new characters. That scene with the FL and the undead is only 5 minutes lol... I can't really count that. Also, that's part of the minor plot
since you want to question the technicality....... in episode 3, by the time they were able to set up the cameras…
Ok this too didn't make sense. Am guessing they only spent 3 hours hunting the actual thing. I guess they wanted to have lunch on time. Sometimes I wondered if they actually wanted to kill the thing.
[ep1] The first 40 or so minutes don't really hold your attention. Bring snacks :D
Disappointed that it doesn't have a psychological tag, but after finishing the first episode, I want to see the second :o
Don't particularly like melodrama so I might drop this if it really sticks out in your face
[ep2] The one message I am getting is that you should stay in your league x.x The scissors scene is a bit disappointing, I don't know why the writer is so afraid I just want to know if he gets half of their assets or not
Yea I don't really like the FL. I don't like any of the characters actually (excluding the kid). Among the characters, there's little to no contrast in personality. Everyone is given a role, and most of their roles can be filled by one personality. Granted I only saw 2 episodes, but I am not really interested anymore.
Have an idea of where the writing is going... and then there's that romance tag. >.> Even the cinematography is melodramatic... Really not a fan of milking the cow
Well, the drama would revolve around that... not with the undead in the DMZ
"To see how the "mysterious monster" kill people? You want the monster to be the main lead?"
Yes actually, any of those can be interesting. At the moment, we just have it as a plot device. We don't know anything else. We don't get to know the people before they become undead either. There's a very 'good vs bad' going on here
I think my tolerance for boring has dropped.. It took 35 seconds for someone to walk to his office and call somebody in.. seriously the pacing is so dammed slow

This is an 8.4/10
reading the manga is tempting
First-time MDL has a rating lower than mine lol
wasn't really interested until 40 minutes in. Seems like it should be rated under an 8 though
I don't see how constructive criticism will help, since criticism is only accepted if the recipient is willing. Go to a hospital if you want to be helped. Don't tell people to keep their thoughts to themselves.

Maybe it's cause I watched too many of 'these' that I was hoping for something more unique. It didn't even have to be an action scene
It is overrated and it has some bad writing. Hope we can at least agree there.

Yes I read a lot of kids books :>
Sure.. I think I was expecting something grander cause i assumed it was 16 episodes. That's my bad
