I thought the 6.4 rating on imdb was bs, but no, this is a 6.4.The movie has so much potential, however the plot holes and the convenient plot devices ruined it. The cinematography was great though, as well as the music. I can tell that this started with a great idea, with the last scene in mind. The framework is there, it just wasnt well executed. I havent watched the 1985 Witness, but supposedly, it is better than this
If this came out a decade or two ago, it would have been an instant classic. Haven't seen good pacing like this in a long while. THe plot wasn't anything too unique, but the twist is what made it all the more worthwhile.
I went in the movie blind and at the end I yearned for more
The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion has the same old redundnatly predictable plot of "genetically engineered kids"…
Actually the action scenes were well filmed. Haven't seen better choreography in a long while.
The Witch is less of a hero story and more of a psychological, thriller. If you don't get why something has happened, then that's really unfortunate. Logan was a good movie, however I couldn't take X-23 seriously, even more so than The Witch. Unfortunately not a fan of most superhero films, always saw something immature and silly about them.
The Oscars is just for show... Don't you know? THey don't mean anything, especially with international films.
Loved the movie, I also teared up, so that's a plus. In most Korean dramas/ movies, there would be something that makes me cringe, super happy that this didn't.
Watched the first episode. Just wished the FL could give more intelligent arguments. Other than that, it was good
Also the drama seems to be promoting women violence towards men... what's up with that
(episode 2) The FL is basically, "i am right and never wrong" also"find fault in others and not in yourself". And so, what does the genius writer do? -_- conveniently gives them (other) faults
well at least she's getting character growth... >_> nope I was wrong
>_> you gotta love it when men are always the ultimate antagonist. Even when it is a female antagonist... she is influenced by a man -_- it's a trend in kdrama
waaaaaa... those are four powerful words -_- "my child is mentally ill"
So i watched the first episode... won't say it's bad, but it was definitely bland. it was a struggle finishing the first episode. i liked the 1980's references, that's about it.
I believe that the best dramas to watch again, are the ones that carry a simple plot. The chemistry, acting and music is all so good
watching it again!!
I forgot how cringe the English dialogue and English speaking actors were. The back and fort between the two leads is really a tease. Wouldn't be watching if it wasn't for the four main leads
disappointing... the quality in writing really drops in the middle. the ending is still really good
8.4/10 (if the ending wasn't good, i wouldn't have given this a watch)
Saying this before i watch, i really hate stupid characters.
(episode 5) Enjoying it so far
There's a reason why girls don't like nice guys >.>
The drama had potential to be really good but the writer wasn't bold enough. It felt that way at least. Dropped at episode 13 (only because the writer didnt know how to make use of that one male character, and it became super annoying)
Don't remember watching a movie that revolved around a single dad. Truly refreshing. 30 minutes in I love it already
almost cried when the kid was on stage T_T the cliche at the end i think it was appropriately used, well worth a watch One of my favourite films I watched all year (2019)
All you know is that someone was killed with a hammer, in front of your apartment complex, and the killer knows that you know and where you live.
Thats all the info you got

ps That thing was really unexpected and it came at the right moment :')
The song at the end is going on my playlist

i cant... dropped
the romance is at least cute
This was really good
I started watching but... Am gonna have to postpone again. It wasn't bad, just not interesting.
I heard good things, despite the rating. Maybe there is a reason for that..
I couldn't even watch beyond 5 minutes of episode 1
Dropped
XD 2 episodes in and am hooked, it started off a bit slow but now the pacing is just right
XD when is the FL gonna get the TEA
The music is great
The acting is great
and the writing is also great (am impressed with the writer)
was gonna give this a 9/10 but the writing in the last episode was disappointing
watching it again!!
