I loved this drama when it explained the difference between being in the shadows and then following a writer's…
I also like that an explanation was given, but not the approach. It was too conveniently placed.
Yea, I too think that way about Baek Kyung. His character development has been pretty good. But I doubt the writer is moving in his favour. The mc will probably end up with Haru
First of all - it's a world of manhwa so of course it's full of cliches and the actors themselves said that these…
hmm well lets see.. Now that haru, regained his memories, he will help the mc to change her faith once again. ATM the writer is setting up a scenario for the female lead to have a happy ending. How? with the historical comic introduced. But before that, she will either pass away from her heart condition or disappear for trying to change her faith. Either way, she will be removed temporarily. I am pretty certain that that the mc will end up with haru and not kyung and the writer is just stretching out the conflict.
The fairy, happens to only be a plot device. Something exciting could have been done with the black holes but sadly i am losing interest. It probably won't be used in the plot until the final quarter
saying all this though i dont think the drama is bad
"i see these writer, villain shows are becoming popular again" What do you mean by that? Is the villain important…
every story has a villain, or more accurately, conflict. I was referring to the comic writer in the drama. Unfortunately, the writer is only used as an escape goat... just someone to blame for everything. most of the conflict comes from the love triangles
besides the plot convenience, i'd give it an even lower rating for the predictable, cliche, self sacrificing trope used. all of the characters are pretty plain (not counting the female lead), and then there is the annoying love triangles
i see these type of shows are becoming popular again
i enjoyed the first few episodes but 13-16 not very much. the writer tried to make fun of that typical romance storytelling but the show ended up being one itself. i might choose to drop this
watched 4 episodes, the drama reminds me of Baking king
Finished it :D I might have enjoyed it a bit more than Baking King, just cause of the couple match up Dramas that hold your interest and always rise in quality are the best
However it was cut a bit short. Some additional character development, for the female lead, would have been nice
1 dimensional characters, predictable plot, a lazy written script and cringe voice overs... Combine all of them together with an MMORPG, which btw happens to be the only interesting aspect, and you get The King's Avatar. Sadly the drama never goes into the lore of the game.
It felt like i was watching an Isekai anime, but with a typical mc, that has no character growth and everything already explored. There are gaps in the drama, where it gets super stale. Dropped at episode 18.
The drama is very overrated. I don't think i will bother with anymore cdramas
XD i hope that all the scenes of the two kissing, are when they are wet
it looks like, more development is coming soon, fortunately
i don't have a problem with cliches, just when they are misused

I liked it a lot but an 8.7 is a bit much
That idiot X_X there was no reason for her to stay
[episode25]
XD we got too many side characters, let's kill them
Oh the feels T_T
XD if only they had cell phones
oof i cringed when there were close up shots of the soldier's 'dull blades'
Also the OSTs were great.
