I’ve been watching Asian dramas since 2003, which means I’ve survived everything, so I will judge (tough but fairly). I watch for the escapism and sometimes the emotional damage. 

*I'm too lazy to find and add every drama I've ever watched, so my watchlist is grossly inaccurate.*

• Competent female leads (women with jobs and brains, please)
• Green flag male leads (red flags are acceptable if they're secretly subby)
• Original screenplays
• Noona / jiejie romances
• Equal parts tooth-rotting fluff and “What did I just watch??” psychological thrillers
• Hurt/comfort
• Inverted tropes
• Drama OSTs that emotionally ambush me in the middle of the grocery store


Dislikes

• Dumb/doormat female leads (I will simply turn it off)
• Tsundere male leads (communicate or go away)
• The miscommunication trope
• Unnecessary breakups
• Bad pacing (too slow or too fast)
• Horror
• Amnesia as filler
• Too much angst
