I predict that this drama will be rated around 8.5–8.7, even if it doesn’t really work out. GYJ has one of…
and first 5-6 pages of reviews will only have 9-10 star ones hahaha

On Can This Love Be Translated? Dec 25, 2025
Please be a fun watch and not another recycled plot with pretty shots and good acting.

If it’s just SML being better than ML for 11 episodes (especially communication), FL loving him deeply, then choosing ML because ✨Korean sausage✨… I’m begging for originality.

Almost all trending kdramas rating dropped today suddenly
i am also noticing something like this, since June to be exact. Even in reviews, i see mass downvoting and upvoting too, like, one review I saw had 130-smth likes but overnight it dropped from first place to page 3 and 10-20 likes reviews came on top, then it was same for a week then overnight that 130 review got 50 more likes out of random and came back on top...

I only recently joined mdl but I've been a lurker since so long and never saw this happening

Some Ksekkis have rated <6 for music ... ಠಿ_ಠ Are you tone deaf?
It's their opinion. Why should they like what you liked?

On Genie, Make a Wish Oct 12, 2025
Title Genie, Make a Wish Spoiler
So in the end, it was the story of Gayoung, bound by the punishment of Iblis.

When Gayoung became Jiniya, it felt like God had gifted her a small piece of heaven.

Gayoung is both Iblis’s punisher and executioner, and the one he loves.

In a way, she’s an innocent human who got caught in the crossfire.

Iblis, tempted by God’s offer to grant three wishes, gained the power to grant humans three wishes of their own.

In the end, God’s temptation worked... the proud Iblis bowed his head to humans.
And when you see that the wish Gayoung made was so similar to the one Iblis once wished for, you realize that Iblis must have come to understand what God’s temptation really meant, and accepted his punishment as he came to understand God’s heart.

Iblis loved and respected Gayoung, and he came to accept God’s will.

But then Gayoung became Jiniya, someone with unconditional power.
She never even made a wish herself, but because she had loved for a thousand years, she was granted that fate.

It felt like God’s way of showing mercy to Gayoung, who got caught up in this mess while trying to punish His own child.

Even so, this child, who lived four lives and always chose altruism...

If she’s dead now, then she’d be a hypocrite wandering between heaven and hell.
And even if she made it to heaven, since she still carries all her memories, that place would still be hell to her, because she could never see Iblis again.

If she’s alive, then she’s a “psychopath” burdened by her memories, condemned by others, still trapped in hell.

So perhaps the best compromise was this...to let her live in that middle realm, as a spirit who grants wishes like Iblis once did, a kind of divine echo of his own punishment.

God built this entire eternal setup just to punish Iblis, and maybe the countless wishes Iblis granted in his arrogance created small ripples of imbalance, so this, Gayoung’s sorrowful fate, was God’s way of tidying up the mess.

Of course, thanks to the persuasive power of Pan-geum (whose energy could apparently humanize even a psychopath lol), now there are two wish-granting genies in the world, and things have gotten even more chaotic. 😂

But Iblis, who learned to obey and understand humans, and Gayoung, who came to feel even a sliver (just one gram!) of emotion, will love each other as beings slightly more good than before.

And maybe that’s what it means... how deeply the God of that world loves His children.

The issue with such dramas is normalising empathy with villains.. now they are doing it with the main source of…
> it would be normal to have empathy with world criminals as people who rape, moleste and kill as long as they are handsome/beautiful and they can promote stories to make them look good<

Pls we already have Ryan Murphy to do that
