Deserved to be a Drama of the year
First of all, I do LOVE all the characters, they were cast perfecty & suit their roles well. I esp love Qi Min the most (Deng Kai did an impressive job here), from my first impression, I did not think he would be that bad person. But Deng Kai portrayed Qi Min well that I could not 100% hate him. I (and I believed that other ppl) feel sorry for his lost and hatre. He was born into a very high status, yet had to live in suffering & constant paranoia. What Sui Yuanqing last few words for him was absolutely right. Also, his obsession towards Yu Qianqian was truly terrifying, he was extremely fixated on her. If I were her, I would run away as far as I could and even wish for her husband's de*th. In addition, the story at Lin'an village was truly impressive, the villagers and their normal lives. When the ML disguised himself and lived there, it felt so peaceful and full of simple happiness. Also, I really love how strong the female characters are in this show. Furthermore, every character was presented beautifully, and all the actors and actresses did an excellent job. And for the custume, makeup, and scenary were amazing.Overall, Persuit of Jade is absolutely worth watching!
