It’ll be sad if it does... If it flops I feel it may be the end of HIStory, but if it’s good and does well…
Taiwanese fans are not pleased with the story. Many think it's cliche and boring. They even compare it with the story of Sunset and Cherry Magic. The most important thing is the official still hasn't revealed who the writer is and even covered the name on the day of the press release. It can only make people think the writer of MODC is stil in charge.

I am sorry where is it written that people are only allowed to write flowery comments and not to write about the…
Seeing these money-driven production companies adapt every popular BL novel into the dramas really makes me sick.

The trailer looks like an average drama with suspense. Hope the plot can be surprising in many ways.

So there are two versions?
I think they will only release the official version on Netflix later for international fans. If international fans wanna watch the first-cut version, DVD is the most likely answer.

They're gonna release a different version of this film in theaters. This version is the first-cut version and many watched it in Taipei Film Festival earlier this year. Some people who watched this version said it's sadder than the official version but it's better as a whole. After the showing in Taipei Film Festival, the director & the producer thought it's not that good so they edited it again and rolled out the official version released in theaters in Taiwan later this year. Many fans who are disappointed in the official version are now excited to see this one. Some said Birdy's perspective is better explained in this one.

Surprised this plot was used. I'm pretty oh the problems. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I feel like this isn't…
I do believe it's very common that good-looking people have easier life at work but people like Kurosawa do exist. They wanna be treated with respect by people due to their capability but people tend to look pass that and focus more on the look. That's why many good-looking actors/actresses play different kinds of roles to prove they are not just one trick ponies. Also, I think Machida can also relate to this plot in real life.

My favorite BL since Trapped ended and I think it will stay there for a long long time. I've been so disappointed for the lack of variety in BL in recent years. But this came out with only few people paying attention to but to many people's surprise, it has blown most popular BL dramas out of the water. I'm so confident this will become one of the iconic BL dramas in people's recommendation when it comes to adult BL.
I have always had a soft spot for Japanese BL dramas since not many BL fans care about them. Ossan's Love was not even popular when it's aired, not to mention Pornographer & Indigo no Kibun, which, in my opinion, two high quality BL dramas from Japan. But the rating here and the popularity in BL fandom have been so lackluster. Most BL fans pay more attention to fluffy Thai school dramas than these adult dramas. It feels like a loner when you're into Japanese BL dramas in any bl groups. But Japan keeps serving different adult settings and I finally see them hit the jackpot this time. Just hope any fans who want variety and can accept all kinds of tastes, please spend some time watching Japanese BL dramas.

But Kurosawa does have the ability to read minds in the manga…I just hope the drama doesn't go this way.
If I didn't get it wrong, the manga made it pass easily. Adachi confessed to Kurosawa, saying that he had magic power by reading people's minds and Kurosawa then, to Adachi's surprise, told Adachi every moment when Adachi used his mind-reading power in a teasing way.…Adachi got seriously shy every time when Kurosawa mentioned every moment. Manga reader won't feel angry or disgusted when reading that part but I don't know what the drama will do to this.
