It's just like what I said before. A drama that was supposed to be a film got cut down to be a drama in order to make money out of the streams. It's quite "meh" at this moment. Not so much effort with the script or the production. Even the acting is sometimes cringey.

Okay. Just watch it as a fan-service and comedy show. Not bad. But I think BL dramas can do much much better than this.

I just wish BL can have this well-thought out script one day. I'm so disappointed with BL these two years for the lack of content.

I don't care about the novel. If the drama makes me question something then it's definitely not executed well.
