The vibe of this show has been pretty genuine so far and the soundtracks do enhance the quality of certain scenes. But Im not surprised since most popular mandarin songs have been produced by Taiwanese. Too bad the show is not doing that well in the local market due to political reasons. Hope we international fans can appreciate it more.
Many Taiwanese fans said they would boycott this drama after the official said the show would be premiered exclusively on Bilibili and this topic even became a local political news in Taiwan. Non-mandarin speaking countries might not know why many Taiwanese fans got angry about this matter so I'm here to explain why. The drama has been funded by the current Taiwanese government, which is a strong support of LGBT rights. However, the government's stance on Taiwan independence is also very clear. In Taiwan, China is an enemy country to the supporters of current government and China's inhumane behaviors towards people against them and many minorities, including LGBT, are notorious in the minds of Taiwan's young generations, where most BL lovers are from. They can't accept the fact that the government-funded drama chose Bilibili, a China's platform, to become the place to premiere the drama. Plus, Bilibili was once notoriously cancelling LGBT-releated search words so it further angers the BL audience in Taiwan. But the thing they are afraid the most is once this kind of China & Taiwan BL cooperation becomes normal, the future BL content will sure cater to China's policy & the taste of Chinese audience. The freedom & LGBT rights in medias may not last long under this format. But some people said it's only premiered in Taiwan & Macau, Hong Kong and Mainland China is not even included. People are way too concerned abou this issue. And so far the official has posted two articles but they deleted the first one after many outraged comments, to explain the whole issue.
lol It's been 8.5 for 2 years and after another gangster show got released, it was down to 8.4. Kinnporsche fans, I know you think your show is a masterpiece but don't take your anger out on this show if someone said it's better.
Same old drama again. How many bl actors got treated like this by these delusional bl fans? No wonder many still don't take BL dramas seriously and think it will never be mainstream. But I do think the fan service tradition in bl industry plays a big role in this situation.
The problem is it got few good reviews from Taiwanese viewers so we still can't have a freaking second season or another bl show from the main leads even if numerous international fans love it. Though I hate how Thai bl industry milks any bl shows, I just hope anyone in Taiwan BL industry can find the potential in this show and give us more. P.S The fact that KinnPorsche is really popular in Taiwan ans China but Trapped was seen as a meh show locally really battles me.
The actor who plays Li Gong is doing his job really well. But this show should be only focusing on the main couple and made it only 6-8 eps. That would be great.

Tons of BL are worse than this but you're aiming at this one. Your personal time is definitely not worth it, right? But I'm glad you're the only one here saying some low qualty shixt about this show. Nothing constructive to say better say nothing.
