can someone tell me the secret of rosa?? i don't understand it
Rosa's real name is actually Sang Wol. She had a friend named Kim Rosa. Sang Wol was dyslexic and couldn't read so she did jobs which didn't require reading or writing. But was bullied a few times so Rosa was always there for her, to protect her. They grew up in an orphanage together and gradually became really close friends. Rosa used to recite her poems to Sang Wol. Afterwards they started living in a separate house, everything was going well until Rosa's future husband came into their lives. He didn't like Sang Wol. Eventually, Sang Wol felt the need to be out of their lives, she thought she was third wheeling and it was her fault so she moved out. She learns how to make that chicken soup at a restaurant (the reason she only serves that one particular thing). She couldn't resist herself and thus calls Rosa but gets to know that Rosa moved out after getting married. A few years later, she came to Seoul for an errand and coincidentally meets Rosa at a shop where the latter was standing with her kid. She finds out that Rosa was being abused by her husband. So Sang Wol runs away with Rosa. They initially live happily but one day Sang Wol comes back home with Rosa's kid crying. Rosa's husband had found her and was beating her again. When Sang Wol tries to stop him, he starts hitting Sang Wol but then Rosa smacks him in his head with an iron. Just then Sang Wol takes it and hits him thrice again and asks Rosa to run away with her child and tell everyone that she herself killed Rosa's husband. Sang Wol goes to the prison while Rosa's in laws cut all ties with her. After coming out, they try to make a living, Rosa sells her poems but not enough money comes in hand. No one was ready to give a job to Sang Wol as she was called a murderer. Rosa then suggests to move to Seoul and start their lives afresh. They move to Seoul and to register in bank accounts, to get job etc, they use Rosa's name. After a few years of struggling, they finally get to buy a two-storey house. They plan to open a restaurant and Sang Wol suggests to name it The Rosa Restaurant. Everything was perfect but after some time they found out that Rosa has cancer. Rosa then one day comes home and tells Sang Wol that she has got her kid admitted to the hospital (as he was a special needs child and required care). Sang Wol argues about this and asks her to take treatment and says that she could take care of the child but Rosa refuses and says that Sang Wol couldn't run the restaurant and look after the child all by herself. She shows her a death certificate of hers and tells her that if she dies then Sang Wol should show the certificate and live the rest of her life as Kim Rosa. When Sang Wol denies, Rosa begs her to look after her child, tells about what could happen to him if Rosa died because her in laws would abandon him for money. So yeah, that was the story
Why are people complaining about Sang Wol and Ro Sa's story?? They literally had such a nice and painful story. And chill guys. There are still 2 whole episodes left. I don't think Hosu would really end up completely deaf.
So yeah, that was the story
