omg u’re right!! i didn’t even realize. she never got to see him perform in person, but for the first time in this ep, she did. now i understand more why she cried. not to mention, the first performance she witnessed live was actually done by SJ for IS. i’m so happy for her 🥹

i get that you see this drama as overrated and not deserving of such rating but is there really a need to go so far? does it really have to be so serious? 😂 anyway, i'll delete my first comment. i feel like it adds nothing but negativity to this comment section, and i'm pretty sure users come here not to see other users argue but to express/relate with the comments & find reason whether to watch this or not.

right?? the ending of ep 4 is the one that keeps replaying in my mind though. the scene was so intense, and the way SJ said 'what am i going to do with you' to IS with the most concerned & loving eyes 🥹 i literally had butterflies. 😫🦋🦋 can i have my own SJ now pls

sparks fly everywhere just the way sunjae looks at im sol. i can literally feel their chemistry through the screen. and all his sweet little gestures and the way he takes care of her? damn, i might as well prepare my grave now coz i don’t think i’d survive their cuteness. 😆

i think the reason why im sol is 'clueless' and ‘always in fangirl mode' is because that's what she really is— a fan. she sees him as nothing but her idol that she wants to save, and that’s her main purpose for traveling back in time, not the chance to date sunjae. it's funny bcos we all know how our ml feels. that’s why i’m really curious how it will all play out once sunjae confesses. i can imagine her being shocked big time.

i’m not so much fan of the idea about a 34 year old dating someone still in school/university though. that’s why i kind of want to believe others’ theory of sunjae time traveling as well which would mean they’re both their 34 year old selves. i feel like it may be unlikely though. but even if it ends up being the former, i still wouldn’t mind. i’d just turn off all logical thinking since it's just a kdrama anyway 💀😂

for now, i think it's fun to watch im sol being oblivious towards sunjae's feelings, and i hope they keep it that way for awhile. it would be such a torture to sunjae but i think it'd be such a delight to watch having our female lead clueless while our ml continues to pin down on herrr

it’s the way that sunjae was mad but still gave im sol his slippers.
it’s the way he was bewildered to catch im sol sleeping in his room but he didn’t wake her up; instead, he opened the fan for her & carefully tended her wounds as not to wake her.
it’s the way he noticed her hands were cold so he gave her his hot pack.
it’s the way he abandoned what he was doing the minute he worried about her even though things were a bit sour between them.
it’s the way that it’s sunjae that always comes to save her whenever she’s in danger.
it’s the way that sunjae fell first and never forgot about her. he has loved her for the past 15 years despite the fact of im sol’s lack of interest and strong feelings of hatred she bore towards him.

as a fan of both dramas, i must admit this show has me on chokehold and has got me obsessed in a way that QoT never did. nevertheless, i think both dramas are good in their own respective genres, and it really just boils down to a matter of preference of what you’d like more. personally, i find QoT to be the kdrama of the year (so far) but lovely runner stands to be my favorite (as long as it’d be able to remain its quality ‘til the end).

i already knew that KHY is a good actress but still i can’t help but marvel. this girl can REALLY REALLYYY act. i really admire her performance and delivery. she can pull off any emotion, and with her talent, i think even genre. no wonder a lot of senior actors/actresses have high praises for her. i think she’s outstanding, and she’s probably going to even more places.

i would definitely love to see a bts of her doing the bday vid for tae sung! i want to see if she also got embarrassed and stuff while she was filming for it 😂 after watching ep 4 so many times, ‘hyun bin shiro shiro’ just keeps playing on my head 💀

i agree that the fl and sml also has great chemistry but the fl and ml’s chemistry are off the charts 😭🔥💯

i literally cannot get this drama out of my head. the waiting is PUREE PAAAINN.

i’ve rewatched the teaser and it seems to me that sol is really being targeted by that suspicious taxi driver we saw in ep 4. from the teaser, u’d see sol in a pink jacket apparently looking in danger and then seon jae comes to save her. another moment indicating that she was being targeted was the accident that we all know of.

do you guys think that targeting her is on purpose or the guy’s maybe just a psychotic killer who has targeted her randomly? if it’s on purpose, i can’t wait to know why. plus i feel like the one targeting sol or the one who caused her accident is also the one who murdered seon jae but why murder him after all this time? how are all the incidents connected? did they leave sol alone bcos she has selective amnesia? i’m also suspicious of the ceo but there’s so little to work with as of now that it’s hard to pinpoint and conclusively say that it’s him

i also feel that tae sung withdrawing from their school after sol’s accident has something to do with what happened. her friend said tae sung got into a group fight after the accident so i’m thinking maybe the kids from the other school said something bad about sol, his supposed gf, that ticked tae sung off which made it turn into a big fight. i also think tae sung may feel guilty as he was not able to help protect sol. after all, i think he feels something for her and he dated her not just to repel the woman that’s been chasing him.

i can’t wait for sol and seon jae’s dating era though!! from the teaser, it seems they started dating from the time sol’s in her curly hair era. and it seems that it was from that time that seon jae asks if she was really from the future!!

i can’t wait for the drama to unfold, and i just hope that the story would be executed nicely. if u were able to reach this point, thank u for reading & i’m sorry for such a long ass comment 🤣 this drama just be on my mind 24/7 it’s crazyyy

ohh then i understand why lovely runner isn’t your cup of tea. the drama may have mystery/thriller elements in it but it is still more in the fluffy side overall. anyway, thanks for letting me know that, mate!

i didn’t realize that the male lead was the one who starred in 20th century girl. he’s so eye candy i fall for him every time he’s on screen. kim hye yoon’s acting is just impeccable, and their chemistry is just UNREAAL. tvN has got to drop all the eps now coz i’m about to go insane. i do hope they’d be able to maintain the drama’s quality ‘til the last episode, and that more people would discover/watch this gem.

maybe a bit off topic but i hope you guys could also try checking out lovely runner though! it only has 4 episodes rn but the chemistry of the main leads are off the charts! plus, it has a ‘he fell first, he fell harder’ trope so if you’re also a sucker for such trope, you might also enjoy the drama. it’s the drama that helps me fill the void while waiting for the new ep of QoT 😂

..was trying to ignore the second lead syndrome as always but my heart really just cant take it my heart quenches for the king i mean how can i not when he was heading back to his room chuckling just because of what chae kyung said!!
not only that he even stopped himself from patting chae kyungs head so he pat her shoulder instead T^T STOP PLAYING WITH MY HEART PLS :'(((
