almost finished with ep 3 but just had to leave a comment first. can’t contain my excitement anymore cozzz ughhh this drama is so cute!!!
i tried reading its webtoon multiple times before but i always end up only finishing a few chapters as i felt like the story and humor wasn’t for me. but watching this drama, i’m convinced to pick it up again. also, i may not be qualified to say this as i didn’t finish reading the webtoon but i really feel the acting and casting is so spot on!
this drama is so adorbs that I’m kind of surprised and disappointed with the current rating. i strongly feel that the FL is so relatable, and i’m loving the dynamic between her and the ML. they’re giving me LITERAL FLUTTERS 😩💓🦋 finally found my hyper fixation and personality for the weeks to come. 😆
i have serious attachment issues with this show 😂 one year has passed and i still haven't found me a good romcom that got me feeling the way lovrun did. i remember using my long dead MDL account just for this one. i used to camp here all the time while it was airing to keep my sanity as i waited for the new episodes to come out haha that was a good time.
i don’t usually watch med dramas but i’m so glad i watched this one. it was engaging from start to finish. i laughed, i cried. loved the story and the dynamic of the characters.
glad to have met choo young woo through this show. he really pulled off his role. his portrayal really made me laugh a lot with his reactions 😂
the only bad thing about this show was that it was short. can’t wait for the next seasons to come out <3
Now this is what I came in to find out. Having waited all week for two measly episodes, I was hoping to hear something…
ohh i guess u didn’t enjoy last week’s episodes that much? while i do stand by my comment, i’m worried you might not have the same experience as me. i do hope the episodes for this week meets your expectations 💗
now this is kdrama 😩😩🦋🦋💞💞 ep 7 had me swooning the whole time. it’s just the usual tropes that were shown in the ep but seeing the FL do it for a change was greatly refreshing. my girl bathed in the sun and silently waited in the car as he slept cuz she knows he worked overnight. all her acts of service throughout the ep and watching her be down bad for eun ho were definitely fun to watch. i kid u not, i was giggling and throwing punches in the air the whole time. we usually get the ‘he fell first, fell harder’ trope but this time we got it switched, and here i am eating it up. plus the tension, angst and longing between the two is just DAMNNNN.
also i have to say i love how their relationship is progressing— it’s realistic, honest, straightforward & mature. i just love me a good romance kdrama. 🌸🌸
ackk i didn’t want to start it yet since there’s only 2 eps out but i couldn’t help it and caved in. 😆 the premise of the story seemed interesting to me, and i’m really loving it so far — the pacing & osts. i’m looking forward to how the story and their relationship will progress.
If anyone wants to start watching this show, then before reading any of the comments or reviews here, please try…
i’m def one of those people that was convinced to watch through word of mouth ✋🏻😝
i have to say — it’s saddening to see how other people diminish the reason why people loved the show, saying that it’s only highly rated due to BWS’s good looks, or that it was rigged by fans, etc. as someone who sincerely enjoyed the show, i know for one that it ain’t his visuals alone that made me love LR. having read comments and watch reactions across platforms, i know i’m not the only one who thinks the same.
LR is one of the most popular kdrama of the year, and was dubbed to be a ‘cure for monday blues’ for a reason. it may not be to everyone’s liking but it surely won the hearts of the greater public.
I’m at ep 12 and I enjoyed it so far up until this ep. I love how they managed to make me laugh, giggle, and…
'LIke girllllllll stop saying that it’s okay, keeping it on your own, and crying alone. You’ve already had Sun Jae and he’s willing to do anything to protect and make u smile.'
Isn't because of the fact that Sun Jae is willing to do anything to protect her that Sol is adamant on not letting him catch up on anything? She knows that if she lets SJ be involved, he will end up dying on her stead, and that's exactly what Sol is trying to avoid hence her decision.
'I wonder how come Sun Jae still love her despite the emotional roller-coaster she gave him.'
He definitely had a hard time when she lied to him about not ever having feelings for him and when she was distancing herself from him. But I think he loved her despite the emotional toll her decisions took on him because he was able to understand the meaning behind her actions. He knew she was only pushing him away because she had his wellbeing in mind. Her decisions may have made SJ have a difficult time but don't forget that Sol was troubled as well because she knew that pursuing her feelings may equal to SJ's death. SJ knows this that's why in the end of ep 10 he assured her that it's okay to face her feelings.
i literally just downloaded all the episodes of LR and put it on my usb the other day because i wanted to rewatch it on tv. now you’re telling me it’s going to be on netflix?? couldn’t they have done the announcement two days earlier? 😤
kidding aside, i’m so happy for the LR team for the show’s continued success. i hope they achieve more records once it’s distributed on netflix. so jealous of the people who’d be watching this for the first time and i do hope they’d enjoy & love the show as much as i do.
I haven't been here since Salon Drip dropped their interview. I mostly interact with K-netizens there, and most…
fr! i get that they didn't like KHY's acting/ character in the show, and i respect that. but i don't get why there would be people who'd go so low that they feel the need to mock her acting.
I was utterly disappointed and made me sad 😭 people talk about BWS popularity skyrocketing and it shows and…
me too! even though i kind of expected it already, it still hurts the same upon actually seeing the clear contrast between KHY and BWS’s departure.
she was the heart of the show & the one who showed such an exceptional performance in this project so it’s absolutely crushing seeing the difference in the treatment/attention she’s given compared to her costar. i read comments saying it’s okay, it’s better than being mobbed, and male leads usually gain more fans, etc. but really, i just want my girl to get as much as love/hype as her male counterparts.
Hopefully many people will swarm aHye Yoon too and greet her warmly if not I'll be so sad 😢
me too :—(( while i do think that BWS gave justice to his role and showed great improvement compared to his past works, i personally find KHY to be the one brilliant in terms of performance on this drama (just in case BWS’s fans misinterpret this— no, i don’t mean any shade/harm). i truly hope KHY also gets what she deserves, and gets as much as hype as her male lead does.
