Another thing on reviews (yes, here we go again).....

I was just reading through my old reviews and UGH! They totally suck. I wrote some of them when I first joined the site and didn't think to go in depth about them. I just sound so fangirly. I failed to point out just what exactly interested me in each drama. The one that makes me give myself a facepalm, is the one I did for PTB. I'M SOOOO SORRY JI-SUNG! Guuhhhh.... I could've done so much better with that one.

Okay sorry, just had to get that out of my system. >.< The writer in me is crying in the corner. :'(

Also, I remember skimming through my comments on your page sometimes and wow. It's like I've forgotten how to spell. "Factory"? "mixed fillings?!", "right" instead of "write". Oh my word. I think I'm going to have an aneurysm.

Yeah, she has a way with words. I've talked with amrita before and she's so conversational and I just love how expressive she is about dramas. It's so refreshing. Haha.

YES! I have Royal Family on my list, mostly b/c of Ji-Sung and also b/c of the cast. Hopefully it doesn't stay soap opera style. I despise American soaps. Ugh. Retro? That's cool right? Lol.

Thanks for reading it! I just adore Nodame Cantabile. I mean, when I watched it, I hadn't played on the piano in SO LONG, but it was so alluring to see these kids give up so much for expressing themselves in music, that it just persuaded me to continue again. REALLY. It's the PERFECT drama for musicians or those interested in classical music.They just do the music justice, you know.

Haha yeah, Kwangie is the "sexy abs" of the group, but I'll always love my Joker. :3

Yeah, I understand. Opinions vary when it comes to that drama, but like you, I didn't like the ending at all. I was actually very bored most of the time. :/

Hopefully Rooftop Prince is better. I heard it's got more comedy which is always a good thing. Hehe.

I don't get why they introduced Lee Ki Woo's character and confessed his feelings so late into the movie. It's like the last 30 minutes and BOOM a love rival. It just didn't fit BUT, Lee Ki Woo acted that part out so well. Even if it was out of place, my heart still went out to him. LOVE that guy! Also, I was VERY pleased and surprised by the amount of eye candy in this movie. Wow. Even if it was a decade ago... :P

You're Beautiful will always hold a special place for me since it's the first k-drama I've ever completed, but even now as I'm getting more and more experienced watching other dramas, I can't really put into words exactly what it was that pulled me too it. I mean, I still love it but I have a feeling that love will slowly diminish. I was actually looking at my rankings and gave it a 10. Why? I have no clue. So yes, it went down to a 9 for me, maybe it will go down even further...idk.

Hear Me, that's the one about a deaf girl right? Yeah I can tell just by the synopsis it was a tear jerker.
I finished He Was Cool. It was funny but kinda all over the place. First it's a wacky rom-com then it gets totally serious in the end. I kept thinking her love for him was really just pity. It kinda reminded me of HYD except, Tsukushi was a fighter and had a much more deeper bond. Ahhh Lee Ki Woo~ <3

Lol, I'm so confused about JGS. I mean, sure he's good-looking, but he just seems SO feminine sometimes dude. Haha...it's hard for me to be attracted to him. Bieber hair? Bahahaha! Oh and Daniel Henney....he was only there as eye candy. Something to stare at while watching the mess unfold. That female lead. Guh...Okay. I shall stop before I start a rant. *cough* slut *cough*.

Okay I will let you know. I'm usually on a time crunch and when I ever I found I site I could watch it on it's either (A) in terrible quality or (B) the damn thing just doesn't buffer. >:(
But still, even if the links aren't working, I'll just watch something else. :)

After Chilling Romance, I watched My Tutor Friend, which was so hilarious haha. I had a good time watching that one. Gong Yoo was such crazy bastard in it. LOL. Then I watched Seducing Mr. Perfect. Daniel Henney was the only thing good about that mess of a movie. Then Baby and Me, which was adorable of course. Little Mason is the cutest thing EVER! And I finished Kiss Me, Kill Me last night...which was good, but just so weird haha. It's hard for to find the words for it. I mean it's suspenseful, intense, funny, strange...but more strange than anything else.
Now, I just started He Was Cool. I can tell it's going to be a laugh. :P

Ugh. I thought the same thing. I was like, "Really? Another airport ending?!" That's like the 4th one in a row for me...wtf. It gets old very quickly. The only airport ending I enjoyed was in Baby and Me.

Ohhh nice. I never even gave Siwon much thought, but our tastes are generally the same when it comes to hotties sooooo, like I said before, I will trust your judgment. Also, was it weird to watch him in a Taiwanese drama? Did it feel out of place? I wondered if he'd be able to speak Cantonese err...Chinese or whatever.

D: Are you serious? Ugh. That is so disappointing about Big. I mean, I'm watching all these Korean movies in the meantime only because I'm waiting for more of the episodes to be uploaded. It's thoroughly disappointing when a drama starts with a bang and then withers away. I'm sad now. :/

No I haven't. I've been trying to look for a site to watch it on. No luck. My mom use to get the dvds but then the place she got them from closed down so yeah. Argh. I saw it on Youtube once, but it got taken down. How did you watch it?

As for that review, even though I appreciate her honesty and her bluntness, I disagree with about 90% of it. But eh, there are different viewers out there. Some go into them being as critical as possible (most likely from experience). Then there are some who dive into it just for kicks,laughs, romance. You're reason (if there is a reason) for starting dramas is a major factor in your overall review of it. The second major factory is the drama itself. Did it satisfy exactly what you were craving? So yeah, it all just DEPENDS. And of course, this is all just my boring opinion. :P

Why I'm going so in depth about this, I have no idea. But that's why I like seeing mixed reviews of the dramas. I started to see so many reviews that only went one way and I think that was my major reason I stopped reading reviews. I only read them once I finish the drama nowadays haha.

Only You. I shall check it out! :) Most dramas are predictable so eh, nothing new there.

I have finally come to the sad conclusion, all these 10's are coming from crazed fangirls who are so overwhelmed by the face-sucking, they are willing to overlook the (horrific) flaws behind such an inconsistent drama. To be frank, they are slapping a 10 on that thing for the smooches. There. I said it. I refuse to be blinded by the romance (just this once :P) and give in to such a BORING drama. I NEVER EVER EVER EVER....want to be bored enough to skip through a drama. I can't believe I actually endured the entire mess without skipping ANYTHING. I'm so proud of myself. ^.^

But anyway, even though I can probably waste my life away ranting about it, I won't. I have to be civil and let it go. :P

Yeah, that's also on my ever growing list of dramas to watch. :P

Nope, QIHM was the only historical (ish) drama I've seen. I have to say, my opinion of QIHM differs from so many others. Even though I enjoyed the romance, the rest was just a mess. Have you seen it yet? I don't want to give anything away if you haven't.
